Joshush Cries & Preaches His Way Out of Big Brother 9

Big Brother 9, CBS No Comments

After last week’s chaos of an eviction episode I wasn’t sure how to approach this one. I knew the votes were kind of up in the air this wee so I was glad to finally be out of the loop when it came to who was being evicted. The opening sequence kind of made things even more confusing by showing the votes go back and forth as they did all week. I was glad to see how the show was actually edited and give CBS props for putting together a show that finally recapped what actually happened in the house.

Joshuah Evicted From BB9Joshuah opened the sequence with his crying out to Adam over the pizza. We all know Josh is on slop this week and he wanted to pull a Jen, well kind of. Josh thought that if he ate he would get an auto nom for last week and people would want to evict Sharon over him since he would be nominated anyway. What he didn’t realize at first was that he would not get an auto nom, but rather an auto vote against him this week. He then changed gears and ‘cried’ to Adam, hoping for the sympathy vote that he needed.

When Natalie thought things out a bit she realized Joshuah’s deal was more or less just to keep him safe. She then told Sharon that Joshuah was campaigning against her, making Sharon angry for the first time in the game. Sharon was then brought in and the girls alliance was officially made to combat the pending ‘battle of the sexes’. Knowing she now wanted Joshuah to go and Sharon to stay, Natalie worked on both Ryan and Adam. She pulled Sharon and Ryan aside to make them trust each other. Apparently they haven’t talked all game yet gained each others trust in a matter of minutes. Um since when does this happen? Adam basically went along with anything the others did, so it made sense that Joshuah would be the one to go with James being the only one voting for him to stay.

Knowing that Joshuah would go, the producers found it best to put in an interview with Joshuah’s mom. I’m sure they were just waiting for this and figured it was their last chance to air it. She basically told us how Joshuah isn’t at all like this. Of course he doesn’t act like that around you, no kids do! It was funny to see his mom actually bash Joshuah though. She explained how she couldn’t watch some of the things he’s been saying but seemed to kidding around at the same time. I’m sure his mom will have some choice words for him when he gets home, if they only could film that!

It then came time for the eviction. I found it funny how Joshuah told Sharon, in front of all America, that he would never campaign against her. I mean he did that ALL week long, yet still finds it smart to lie to her, knowing she probably does know. When Julie asked Sharon how she felt about what Josh just said I waited for some comeback such as “well Julie, I know he’s been campaigning and lieing all week, but I still love him”. Only the later part of that quote came out of Sharon’s mouth. And for once she made a statement without starting it with “GGGGGGGGODDDDDDDD”.

When the votes were in only James in fact did vote for Josh to stay and he walked out of the house. Before doing so though he gave some “inspirational words” to the houseguests in hopes to go out in a classier way then Chelsia. Come on now Josh! We WANT an explosive eviction, what would it have hurt you are evicted anyway! He didn’t really have anything interesting to say to Julie other then his head exploding. I’m surprised it fit throughout he door. Where does he come off thinking he was the ‘toughest player’ in the house. Sure you may have thought that Josh but it just isn’t true!!!

The HoH was “More… or less” and was basically made for Natalie… yet she couldn’t compete. It had to do with the number of certain items, such as pillows and mirrors, in the house. Julie would give them a number and they had to guess if that number was actually more or less then the real total. In the end it looked like Sharon would pull out a win but both James and Adam caught up. In the very last question Sharon and James both chose the wrong answer and gave Adam his second HoH win. With Adam once again in power, will Natalie rule his HoH again and will this kill off the girl alliance? It should be an interesting week. We all know Adam isn’t scared to make crazy nominations so who knows who will go up this week. Although my bet is on James and Sharon. But if history repeats itself James won’t be up there come next Wednesday.

Chelsia Explodes Live On Big Brother 9

Big Brother 9, CBS 2 Comments

Wow I must say, this has been one of the craziest and insane episodes of Big Brother all season and in a LONG time! Not only did several explosions occur but they went down LIVE with no editing so we got it all full force. It all began with Easter in the Big Brother house. Unlike most Easters, this one was not nice and cheery but rather insane! It started off normal with Chelsia simply expressing her annoyance with Natalie in the Diary Room. But as Natalie finished dying eggs for Easter, something inside Chelsia snapped. She started off by smashing single eggs but realized nobody really cared. So she decided to smash ALL of the eggs in the bowl, basicially making Natalie and Sharon’s egg dying fun pointless. She went off and continued to make very childish and crazy remarks trying to get people riled up but it seemed to have the opposite affect.

The only really dull moment of the show was Adam’s ‘interview from home’ package which tried to make up for Adam’s small little comment earlier in the season. His family basically kept saying how generous and nice and caring he was, trying to roll back any bad media he’s had. It was nice to kind of see Adam on the show for once though as he’s been overshadowed lately but otherwise it just couldn’t compare to the rest of the show.

When it came time for the votes both Sharon and Chelsia were given some time to give a speech on to why they should stay. Sharon gave a rather quick little talk saying she had fun and would like to stay, while Chelsia went off and off hard. She basically told everyone that they have been ‘breast feeding’ off of each other. Although she slipped in there that she’d ‘love to stay’ I think her comments were mean to cause drama and rile people. I mean she even make a quick little laugh seconds after she said it.

When all the votes were in they were all for Chelsia to go, even James’ vote. Julie pulled a fast one by making it seem like Sharon would go and made Chelsia crap her pants it seemed for a few seconds. But Julie changed her mind and let Chelsia know she was going which sent her off on another crazy, live rant.

The second, and last rant, of Chelsia was even worse then the first and had every one’s jaw dropping. She pointed out to everyone, except her friends, what she thought their bad traits were. She told Adam that he had no balls and continued to tell Natalie to get an education since she has none. She did say something to Sheila but I can’t seem to remember what. Before she left the house Chelsia began to whisper to both Joshuah and James. When talking to Julie she said she gave them both a pep talk and wanted them to ‘explode the house’ by winning HoH for her.

At the HoH challenge though something very interesting happened. The challenge was to guess who America chose for several questions that were posted on CBS.com. Both Natalie and Joshuah were tied for the lead about half way through but after a single question Natalie was up in front. At the 6th question she had already clinched the win and did just that by winning her first HoH. It was interesting to see the HoH stay on the same side but I think Natalie will use this HoH to shake up the house even more. She’s become a HUGE player since Matty left and I really feel like she could win this game. Don’t be surprised if Joshuah goes up with Sharon or James. The only question is, who would she put up if the 3rd of that ’side’ wins HoH and basically forces Natalie to put up one of her own.

Paradise Hotel 2’s Troublemaker Sent Packing

Paradise Hotel 2 No Comments

On the latest Paradise Hotel 2 not one but two guys were sent home. Since two new guys entered the game on the last episode, a double elimination had to occur to balance the game back out as the twists the show is known for begin to pick up. The first elimination came after a very heated Pandora’s Box where Stephanie and Raheim battled it out as Raheim denied that he tried to control Stephanie when they were roommates. She said he told her to not talk to the new guys, which he did say, but he denied it when it was brought up to everyone. TD was then asked to read a ‘Hotel Question’ which asked the girls which guy they would like to see leave the hotel. The show then became survivor-like and the 5 girls cast a vote on who they wanted to leave the game ‘forever’. The most votes went to Johnny, the first new guy to enter Paradise. Although the votes were not revealed, we do know that Tanya voted for him to leave and regretted it afterwards. Johnny left without much fanfare, other then a flip, and made the unevenness of the guy to girl ration ready for the next roommate selection.

Before we could kick another guy out of Paradise drama had to go down of course! With two new guys coming into the game it created a setup for a new alliance to emerge. TD has joined Stephanie and the new guys Aaron and Chris to create a new split in the house. They all agreed that Raheim should go and it seems that Chris is running the show there. Before the elimination would occur though the original guys worried that the game would be changed up. Krista, who is in neither side, realized the split in the house and worried that she would be on the outs next week. It was interesting to see how she picked up immediately on the change of the players and it will be interesting to see which side she selects next week.

At the roommate selection it was time to send another guy home. The two new guys stuck to their alliance and chose TD and Stephanie while James went to new love Lauren and Mike went back ‘finger painting’ buddy Tanya. Krista was stuck with the hard decision of sending someone home and had to decide between Ryan and Raheim. Although she has been friends with Raheim for awhile and from what I can remember never really even talked to Ryan, she picked Ryan as her roommate and sent her friend Raheim home. He left kind of quiet, which I was surprised, and hopefully didn’t take all the drama out with him. Next week a new girl enters Paradise and apparently all the guys are falling for her. A new twist is brought in as well as it seems the new girl has the ‘ultimate power’ over the other girls. That probably means she sends one of them home single handedly and gives the producers another reason to create more drama and change the game how they wish.

James Gains All The Power on Big Brother 9

Big Brother 9, CBS No Comments

First off I must say I never expected the vote that happened tonight. During the first segment they basically set it up for Matt to go hands down as he annoyed almost everyone by pleading for their votes. He even cried! I never would have expected that. Ryan basically sat back, like before, and let the cards fall as they did but Matt sure didn’t.

Matt was trying to stay and trying hard. After being rejected by all the girls as they weren’t falling for his sympathy, he went to Adam for him. He basically told him to say that he did nothing to anyone in the game, and Ryan was the one who made all the moves. Sheila was the only one to buy it thought and agreed that Matty did nothing against anyone in the game, and Ryan was the one who caused most of the drama. He did nominate Chelsia, James and Sharon yet they want Matt out? That makes no sense and still doesn’t.

We then saw Dick and Daniele and learned that they are now closer then ever before. Although they don’t see each other daily or talk daily, they are at least friends it seems and both stay in touch. They spent a week in Europe together and both seem to be doing fairly well since the show ended. Dick will even be returning to the house this week to give the houseguests a ‘wake up call’. I assume he will be reprising his famous ‘pots and pans wake up call’ he gave to Dustin last season.

Back in the BB9 house Julie told the houseguests that Alex would have returned last week if they brought back the mystery box. She then asks who would have voted him back over Alex and all the vote stay the same except for Natalie’s for obvious reasons. It was time to vote and everyone was called in LIVE and asked to vote. Chelsiea, Sharon and Joshuah were all called in first and voted for Matt to leave. Natalie, Adam and Sheila then voted and all three voted for Ryan to leave, giving us the first tie in a LONG time.

James was then asked to vote and was given the ultimate power to end his powerful week. He voted for Matt without hesitation and basically broke his word even more to Natalie. When Matt walked out of the house he was visibly upset and wasn’t acting himself. He said that he and Natalie will be life long friends and really feels genuine about her for once. Julie says he is the first jury member. He laughs it off and probably wishes the siren would go off so he could go back into the house!

The HoH was the dreaded “pair up and smash the button” challenge. Two people went head to head. The lower would be out of the challenge while the winner would move on and chose the next two to compete. In the end it came down to Chelsia and Adam with Adam taking the win. He’s been a very neutral player so far so he will finally have to choose a side. I’m pretty sure he’ll stay with Sheila, Natalie and Ryan but he seems pretty swayable. Who knows what will happen, maybe he’ll have even more power then James but I highly doubt that.

America’s Vote Stripped Away on Big Brother 9

Big Brother 9, CBS 1 Comment

The night began with the promise of a houseguest returning and that they did but NOT who we would ever have expected. It all began with the house wondering who to vote out. James going was the first idea as everyone promised Sharon that she would stay, although she was kind of freaking out about it.

Natalie and Sheila’s convo which we covered the other day was then showcased and made us believe that the vote was changing for Sharon to leave. They both felt that Sharon was a threat as she was quiet and was ‘playing Matty’ which Natalie didn’t like too much. The votes then
changed once again as Matt talked Natalie back into voting out James so his fate was almost sealed.

The evicted houseguests were then shown and let us know why they should return… kind of late. Jacob basically wanted to come back to see Sharon while Jen and Parker seemed to be getting along well. Alex and Amanda are still fighting it seems and both were blaming each other for losing. Allison was the one who wanted to come back the most and seemed ready to return as well.

We then saw the evictees live in the studio and Julie let us know that Alex would potentially be returning. She told Alex that he must go sit in a mystery box and those still in the house will vote for Alex to return as a ‘mystery person’ or for the newest evictee to return. I don’t think they realized this as first as they were so happy for Alex to return.

They quickly got to the eviction and James was evicted by 5 - 1. Chelsia was the only one to walk him to the door and she was visablly upset. When he got outside James was given a standard interview and a very heartfelt video from Chelsia. He was then told that he could return to the game and returned by saying he may “crap his pants”. Directly following this the housegeusts were given another dose of the buzzer and were shocked to learn they had to wait during the break for the news to hit them.

Live votes were then conducted for either the mystery box or James to return. Everyone went in and only Matt, Ryan and Sheila voted for the mystery box while everyone else voted for James to return. I was hoping for a tie since that would have been crazy and I have no idea what they would do, but alas James returned. It seems we were kind of denied our vote for Alex to return, and it was therefore kind of pointless but alas James returned and surprised everyone by jumping out of the box.

Everyone was then thrown into the HoH which SURPRISE was an endurance challenge. They are all standing on a little disk which is being spun around and lifted. The last person remaining on the disk will win the HoH so we will surely be in for a long night.
