Big Brother 10, CBS

After last weeks eviction of Brian I wasn’t sure how Jessie’s nominations would go down but tonight proved that being friends with Brian means you’re a huge threat apparently. Following his eviction several houseguests had some words to say. Dan, Angie and Steven were upset to see him go and feel their fun was taken away. Libra on the other hand was glad he was gone as she considered Brian her “biggest threat” while Jessie was glad he was gone as well. He also made a comment about his picture looking better in black or white. So original….. not.
At the diner table Jerry let everyone know what Julie and he talked about. He told them how she brought up him breaking his work with Brian even though he used his military word to say they were aligned. Nobody liked that, including Dan, who said that Jerry broke his word no matter what excuse he came up with. Renny then made a comment how he shouldn’t use his military in the game which caused a little tiff. Jerry let her know that she doesn’t listen and walked away before anything could come from it.
Following his win for the HoH Jessie let everyone know just how exciting he was. He was very cocky in the backyard after winning and made it obvious how the house split. Dan, Angie and Steven gathered on one side of the backyard while the others on another side. When they were finally back in Jessie and Memphis celebrated the win together, proving that they are aligned. They both then jumped up and down with Michelle while Angie walked in. Nobody was happy with how Jessie acted, especially the “We Love Brian” group.
Once again Libra wanted to sway the HoH and talked to April about getting Jessie to put Steven and Angie or Steven and Dan up. When Jessie got his key for his room everyone, besides Steven, went up to see it. Jessie had a ton of bodybuilding pictures in his room and hardly any of family or friends. I know he doesn’t decide what pictures to put but seriously, he doesn’t want people to see his body as a threat yet goes ga-ga over pictures of his body…… yeah. When everyone left Libra and her posse told Jessie that Steven and Dan had to go up. She used the fact that Steven didn’t come up to the room as a reason but Jessie wanted Renny up. They told him it would be a waste of a nomination but he still wanted her up. I’m not sure how they can use the “waste of a nomination” idea since if she is a waste now when won’t she be?
Before the food competition we were shown a few moments from within the house. First Jerry let both Angie and Libra know about his wife having parkinson’s. They both cried and he told the whole story how he worked out to make sure he could take care of her. Next up was Steven who was asked a few questions about being gay by Dan. The two seem to have been friends since moving in and Dan now realizes how much he is learning just from being in the house. Last but not least was a small moment with Jessie yelling at Angie for being friends with Brian. He told her that he can’t trust her since she was friends with the person who wanted their alliance out. It’s funny how they are bringing up an alliance (Jessie/Memphis/Angie/Michelle) that really wasn’t shown on the show but more on the feeds. Angie sat there and took it because she really had nothing to say for herself.
At the food competition everyone had to break into two teams. Libra and April weren’t happy with being on the “old people” team with Renny and Jerry. That will boil over in the next episode I’m sure and you can find out why if you search YouTube. For food the two teams had to battle it out to fill the most wine glasses in five minutes. There were three “jobs” for the teams which were throwing, filler and corker. For the green team Steven and Angie were the corkers and for the red team it was Jerry and Memphis. The throwers were Dan for green and April for red while the fillers were Renny, Libra, Keesha for red and Jessie, Michelle and Ollie. In the end both teams filled hardly any bottles as the green team won with one and a half full. The challenge caused some drama though on the red team as Libra and April went at it since April felt it was the fillers fault they lost. Libra let them know everyone worked as a team and it was the teams fault while Keesha chimed in how well Renny did. Like I said this fight will boil over on Tuesday so make sure to stay tuned!
Following the challenge Dan tried not once but twice to talk to Jessie. The first time failed as he tried to get Jessie alone in the HoH by asking to use his bathroom. Little did he know that Ollie would follow Jessie up to it looked bad on his part actually. The second time he finally got him alone and the two talked. Dan told Jessie that he would probably be going up but that he wouldn’t be upset about it. Jessie didn’t say too much but let him know that everything would be good. At the nomination ceremony Jessie still chose to put up Dan although he did say he felt he would be good to be aligned with. He put up Steven as well, who argued he was sleeping during the HoH room tour. Whatever he said wouldn’t change the nominations of Dan and Steven as only the Power of Veto can do that. Although we already know who won it and if it was used or not we find out officially on Tuesday. Check back then for the latest or you can find out now by checking out the feeds section of BigBrotherLoop.com.

CBS, Greatest American Dog
1 Comment
The Greatest American Dog is still impressing me as a show about dogs is becoming one of the most heart warming yet dramatic reality show in a long time. Last week Elvis and his owner David were sent to the Dog House and lucky they were. The first night the two moved back into the house Elvis got into a fight with Tillman, setting a few people off. David didn’t want to deal with the drama so he moved back into the Dog House for the night. He avoided the drama for a bit but the next day Ron let him know he couldn’t stay in his room if their two dogs would fight, making David on the bad list for a few people.
After that little tiff it was time for the next Dog Bone challenge. Once again the winner would get a lavish bedroom and choose someone to put into the Dog House. For the challenge the dogs and their owners would have to go through several obedience challenges. The dog(s) who don’t finish within the allotted time would be out for that round. The last dog remaining would win the Dog Bone room for them and their owner and win the challenge. When the challenge began Elvis and David ended up being the first out. No surprise there. As the challenge continued everyone dropped out one by one and it came down to Travis/Presley and Laura/Preston. The final challenge was to be the first to turn left, then right. Travis and Presley were the first to finish and gave the youngest dog there the win. Travis then had to choose someone to spend time in the Dog House and he chose JD. Everyone feels that JD is a threat so they were happy with the decision.
Following the Dog Bone challenge it seemed like Bill and his dog Star were missing home. He’s the oldest guy there and he’d surely miss his family but he’s glad he’s there with star as he’s that close with his dog. Before they went to bed Bill told Ron that Star likes to find snakes and brings them into his house. The following morning Star did just that and got herself into a bit of trouble. Bill heard her yelp in the yard and ran to her rescue. Star was bleeding pretty bad and after a trip to the Emergency Vet we found out she got into a fight with a cat or maybe got caught in a wire. Everyone was worried as they weren’t sure what was going on and realized just how much they would be upset if their dogs got hurt.
Later on it was time for the Best of Show preparation and this weeks challenge was “Pettiquite”. Three simple actions were going to be done but during the challenge the dogs would have distractions. Unlike last week the 11 players were split into two random teams. Group one was JD, Elan, Travis, Beth Joy and Laura. Their “troublesome dog” was Kenji who was basically continouosly yelled at by Elan. Nobody agreed with how she handled her dog and felt it could screw them up as well. Group Two consisted of battling dogs with Ron, David, Teresa, Bill, Lori and Brandi. Their trouble was David and Elvis who seemed out of control. He continued to run rampant and everyone was scared he’d bite again.
At the Best of Show Group Two goes first. Everyone does really well but there are a few problems here and there. The first challenge was to walk out and “heel”. The only dog to do somewhat poorly was Brandi’s, who was in the bottom three last week. Beacon wanted to stray a bit but got back on course. For the second part the dogs were put food in front of them that they loved. Although Tillman wanted to so badly eat the steak, none of the dogs gave in and did very well. The last challenge was to stay. The dogs had to sit at the table while their owners walked around the table. None of the dogs budged in group two and continued to do well.
The first group then came out and had a few stumbles. Everyone did well with the heel but the eating part had some issues. The only problem was really with Elan and Kenji as she basically barked at her dog. Every other “sound” out of her mouth was “ehh” and “stop”. I mean she yelled at her dog before the food even hit the table! None of the others ate and none of the others moved while the owners walked around as well. Once again Kenji screwed up though as right before the challenge was over Kenji jumped down off the table, making it pretty obvious would would leave. When it was time for judging Elan and Beth Joy had the worst words for them. Obviously they weren’t happy with Elan for yelling but Beth Joey and BellaStarlet were something totally different. The judges didn’t like how Beth Joy put Bella in a dress. It really had nothing to with Bella’s act but rather the choise Beth Joy made to put her in a dress.
When all the teams returned it was time to name Best of Show. The judges chose Bill and Star, who luckily recovered, to be the best and it was great to see the team bounce back after much misfortune! For the bottom three the judges chose David/Elvis, Elan/Kenji and Beth Joy/BellaStarlet. As the judges gave their critique Beth Joy freaked out. She was made they didn’t like the idea about Bella being a dress and brought up several reasons. But the judges, who weren’t happy with the freak out, chose Kenji and Elan as well since she acted so badly during the actual part of the challenge. I think they made a great move, for good TV sake, since Beth Joy is certified crazy!

Paradise Hotel 2
No Comments
With our little trouble maker Raheim gone I wasn’t sure if the others could hold there own. But we seem to have a new trouble, or rather ‘drunk’ trouble starter in Ryan who basically stole the show and was the center of everything. First things first though, the new girl. Myrna entered the hotel as a ‘fashion designer from LA’ who just happens to be Asian. Apparently Mikey, the guy who has been clung to Tanya since day one, loves Asians so I’m sure producers put Myrna in there to try and break up the love birds. I personally don’t see that happenin
g.
Myrna seems to be straight from the valley as every last syllable of every sentence lingers on for at least 3 seconds. She says like about twenty time every five minutes and I swear she said ‘totally’ sometime during the show! Myrna doesn’t seem to have any clue what she got herself into and didn’t seem comfortable at all on the show. I guess you always need a ‘fake’ person on a reality show and I believe she may just be the first one on Paradise Hotel 2 who actually acts fake. Of course they are mostly all there to get famous, but I think she knows she’s there to get famous and isn’t hiding it one bit.
After picking Aaron in the “Mr. Paradise Hotel” contest, Myrna got to spend some time with him at dinner where he basically begged her to join his alliance with Chris, TD and Stephanie. After some small talk Aaron got straight to the point, telling Myrna “It’s me or Chris going home next if you stick with the originals, and you’ll be gone short after.” Hmm sure weren’t waiting for the right moment were you Aaron? When they got back at the hotel it was time for drinking of course! Ryan, once again, got a little tipsy and officially took over for Raheim. After he told Myrna that he was told she likes guys with real jobs (Ryan is a lifeguard don’t forget) the two got into a little tiff. It was more against him and Tanya I guess since she took Myrna’s side instead of Ryan’s and that didn’t make him too happy. He went straight into tell Mikey what Tanya said, which backfired of course. Now why would you tell the guy who is ‘crushing’ Tanya that she is ’stupid’? Oh I forgot, he was drunk out of his mind!
The next day more drama went down and it’s basically Ryan’s fault as well. Lauren was told by Ryan that Stephanie and Aaron kissed, so she asked Aaron if they did and he denied it. Aaron once again used his bad timing skills to run down and tell Stephanie that Lauren was spreading rumors that they hooked up. As Stephanie floated in the pool, she told Lauren that she never kissed Aaron. Lauren wasn’t too happy that Aaron let the cat out of the bag and said, right in front of Stephanie, that Aaron should leave. But here is where Lauren was smart. Instead of waiting for Stephanie to tell Aaron, she went and told him herself. He wasn’t too fond of the comment and let it slide for now.
It was the time for the official twist of the episode. New girl Myrna was to have a one-on-one conversation with each of the guests at Paradise. After sitting through a boring 10 minute segment of her talking, and once again looking very fake and uncomfortable, we finally got to the good stuff. Myrna got to choose new roommates for each of the guests, basically making the night where they actually chose roommates pointless. She used a good strategy in my part in choosing people who don’t get along. James and Krista were paired up, once again, so I’m sure that will help them. Tanya and Chris being paired up wasn’t too exciting either as both of them haven’t really connected it seems.
The interesting pairings were the next few. TD and Mikey were paired up. In their one-on-one Mikey told Myrna that TD should be the next to go. Let’s hope she finds out so we can see some brawling going down between TD and Tanya! Another interesting pairing is Ryan with Stephanie. Both have ‘finger painted’ together a few times this season yet the feeling isn’t mutual. Stephanie is loving Ryan just a little more then he loves her. He basically calls her a one night stand and actually wants her to be the next to go. Hopefully Myrna spills those beans and Stephanie has a classic freak out! The one that I find most interesting and brilliantly done by Myrna is the pairing of Lauren and Aaron. As I said before, they HATE each other, so it should be very amusing to see how they react when they have to live together. Next time it seems like Stephanie does find out Ryan’s true feelings. Hopefully she freaks out as expected and goes down in crazy reality girl history!
