Big Brother is known for it’s explosive arguments this season and I think after the HoH was won there won’t be a dry spell anytime soon. Following Jerry’s very crazy Power of Veto speech nobody was happy with him. Everyone from Memphis to Michelle felt Jerry went out of his way to belittle Dan, calling him “Judas”. Dan couldn’t have been more thrilled though as he felt it helped his game. He knew everyone was angry with Jerry now and the target was moving off of himself.
Although Libra felt dead in the water, Keesha somewhat buried herself a bit by getting in a fight with April. She and Ollie wanted to switch up the game since April felt Keesha was jealous of her looks. This left Ollie to go to Libra about using their votes plus Jerry’s to keep her in the game. She only needed to get Dan to vote for her and that was the issue. The problem came when Memphis offered Dan an alliance called the “renegades”. It would consist of the two of them plus Keesha and Renny. They felt they should keep their alliance separate from the girls but string them along as far as they could. When Libra talked to Dan about being the swing vote he couldn’t give her a yes or no and she accepted that. Dan wavered on his vote but still seemed set on voting Libra out with his new alliance.
For the interview from home we finally got to see Libra’s husband talk about the “issue” of her leaving her twins. This means BB is betting on Libra going, since most who get a chat from home are mostly likely on the bubble to leave. In his chat Libra’s husband let us know she is a great mother and that his mother in law helps him with Libra’s children. They then played the Michelle freak out for him and he was obviously shaken by it. He didn’t like the way she talked about Libra taking the trip and that her children should be taken away. Although he knew she was strong he felt she was there for the right reasons, hopefully putting her critics to rest.
When it came time to talk to the houseguests Julie focused on the Dan/Jerry fight. Dan joked about it saying that Jerry should call him “Mr. Judas” while Jerry was still angry about Dan (America) voting Jessie out. When Julie talked to HoH Michelle alone she let us know that she wants her parents to be proud. She also talked about being friends with April and how it’s basically for the game at the moment.
Julie then returned back downstairs to administer the live vote. Although some were wavering it was obvious that Libra would go, and she knew it. With 6 - 0 votes, Libra walked out of the house in a good mood and saying that she had “fun”. It’s sad to see Libra go as she brought much drama to the house but the new HoH should do the very same.
During the HoH the houseuguests were given quotes from the diary room made by Brian, Steven, Angie and Jessie. The first person to buzz in would get to say who said the quote, if they were correct they could eliminate someone from the Head of Household. If they were incorrect, they would be out of the challenge. Renny got the first question right and kicked April out. Next up was Dan who also got his correct and booted Jerry from winning. Ollie, Memphis and Dan then answered incorrectly, kicking themselves out of the competition. That left best friends Keesha and Renny. Renny buzzed in last and correctly answered Brian. That gave Renny her first HoH win and shifted the power once again. Who will she put up? It’s going to be an interesting one and another one for the books I’m sure!

What can I say? Big Brother 10 is showing what Big Brother is meant to be as it continues to shift power and shock not only the house guests but the viewers as well. With a surprise eviction for one player, a rebound shift of power for another and 9 All Stars entering the house who can’t love Big Brother 10?
Following the Power of Veto ceremony it was on awwn as Keesha and Libra wanted to shift the vote to evict Jessie. They knew that April wanted Memphis gone and when they tried she wouldn’t budge on evicting Jessie. Although the two girls pretended to still want Memphis out, Keesha put a plan in motion that would split the group and possibly evict Jessie. She knew that she needed four votes to evict this week but only had three in herself, Libra and Renny. That’s where Dan, America’s Player, came into play. Keesha grabbed Dan, along with Memphis, to show Libra they had the votes. When Dan agreed it was set that Jessie would go, but it was still up to America.
In the backyard April was worried that the two girls would flip and let Jerry know they might. He immediately knew that Dan was the swing vote and talked to him, telling him that he can’t be persuaded by Libra and Keesha. Dan kind of agreed but in an “hmmm, ok Jerry” manner and basically shrugged Jerry off. I don’t know how Jerry couldn’t realize it, but hey I guess he’s old. That night Dan talked directly too America, telling us that we better do what is best for him. It was fun to see someone talking to US and hopefully we didn’t screw Dan over too much.
The night was all about Dan as we saw a video from his family and football team. The team seemed supportive of their coach, although they seemed like they were more Dan’s friends rather then players. His family was split on the America’s Player twist as his sister loved it while his mother hated it. She felt it would hurt his game play but his sister knew he could pull through. After that Julie talked a bit with April. She didn’t mention anything about April and Ollie, you know, but April did say that she feels that her and Ollie’s relationship is true.
When it was time to vote the producers made it pretty obvious. They had Michelle, Jerry and Ollie vote first followed by Libra, Keesha and Renny. Dan was the obvious tie breaker, in reality it was America, and we forced him to evict Jessie. When Jessie walked out of the house, Michelle smacked her hands together and faced in front of everyone. She wasn’t too happy an either was Jessie. Although he didn’t go out in a rage he did leave somewhat angry, not the exit I had hoped for but still pretty good.
During the HoH the houseguests were asked to remember wake up calls that occurred last night. CBS had viewers send in wav files of what they should play to wake up the houseguests. Michelle was the only one to stay up all night and listen to them all. When it came down it is, Libra and Michelle were the final two of the competition. Michelle’s all nighter pulled off as she gained the Head of Household and shifted the power of the house. After such a huge eviction, this should be interesting as Michelle was the one most angry for the leave of Jessie. Oh I can’t wait to see how Michelle, and Jerry, blow up!
Before the show ended Julie dropped a HUGE bomb on us, but not the house. Ten former players of the game will enter the house sometime this weekend to play against those still in the game. In celebration of the 10th season Chicken George, Bunky, Amy, Jun, Jase, Janelle (I’m sure so many are happy about that), Boogie, Jen, Matty and Brian will play in a challenge against the remaining nine. What will the challenge be and what does it mean for the game? Tune in later to find out!

Big Brother is known for its sudden change in power and tonight is no different. Following the Power of Veto ceremony both Steven and Dan realized that one of them would surely be going home. Both took a different approach to stay with Dan staying quiet and Steven pushing people to vote in his corner. Steven made the first move by asking one side of the house to keep him in the game. That side just happened to be the one aligned with Keesha and it almost seemed like they were swinging is way and could vote for Steven to stay. Dan, on the other hand, stood with Jessie and Michelle and told both of them to let him know if he should start campaigning.
It was obvious that the house was now divided into three sections. The first is Libra, April, Ollie and Keesha hanging on by a thread. They are act like they are tight but there are cracks that have formed as the three girls can’t stand each other. The other side is more solidified being Angie, Michelle, Memphis and Jessie. While outside Angie let Memphis know she can’t stand Libra and April and it’s obvious there is about to be a battle between the two groups. Last by not least are the floaters who really have no loyalty to anyone at the moment. Renny, Jerry and Dan as of now have no set alliance and could really be the swing vote for the rest of the game. Winning HoH for one of them would surely pull them to a side and I await that to happen.
When it came time for Julie to pop up she had a few interesting questions for the houseguests. I’m really liking the live shows this year as Julie is doing a great job and this time around the live audience added much more to the show. After bringing up the Jerry/Libra fight, Julie turned to Ollie and April who were visibly nervous about talking about their “romance”. If you’ve been following the feeds you would know they’ve gotten very “close” and I think the producers wanted some chatter on that. But to their dismay neither April or Ollie revealed their actions to the house or the world but they did hint at least!
The first family package was then shown as the Renny and Jessie fight was brought up again. Both of their families were asked about not only their loved ones but how they saw their enemy as well. Renny’s family were very happy for their mom and also very against Jessie. Renny’s son continuously called Jessie a weasel but Jessie’s mother disagreed. She felt her son was great on the show and much more then a body, like he always says. It was interesting to see how the families took sides and for once stuck with their loved ones in the house. In previous seasons we’ve seen family members turn against their loved ones but this year it is a nice change of pace!
After a quick chat with Jessie it was time for Dan and Steven to give their possible final words. Dan was rather quick and basically said Sharon’s famous words, that if it was his time to go it was his time to go. Steven took a completely different route though, like he’s promised all week, and pulled a more humorous “Chelsia”. He quoted some fun sayings from the house and basically told everyone to “suck it” but in a more funny way. It was good to see the houseguests have fun on eviction night rather then blast out of the house in anger like some have in the past. When all the votes were cast it was unanimous for Steven to leave the house with a 9 to 0 vote. Not even his good friend Keesha could throw him a pity vote and he was out the door.
For the HoH competition the houseguests were treated to some scare tactics as aliens appeared several times behind the mirrors. April, Renny and Jessie saw the crazy ET like creatures and seemed more in shock then scared. Of course it was just a rubber alien with a green light shining on it but still rather humorous. The HoH wasn’t based on the alien sightings though but rather what they “abducted”. Several things were removed from the house and it was the houseguests job to remember which room and which items were removed.
To begin the challenge were Dan and April who were chosen as random. Dan buzzed in first and with a correct guess knocked April out of the HoH and chose Libra and Renny to compete next. With a wrong answer Renny took herself out and allowed Libra to choose Memphis and Angie to compete for the third question. After getting the answer right Memphis knocked out Angie and chose Keesha and Michelle to compete. Michelle took herself out and Keesha chose Libra and Dan. Libra made it through again taking out Dan, giving Keesha and Memphis a shot at the next question. Getting her first question right, Keesha took Memphis out of the game and forced Ollie and Libra to compete. Libra continued her streak and took out Ollie, pitting the final challenge for the HoH between herself and Keesha. After getting her last question wrong, Libra handed over the HoH to Keesha. This should be a VERY interesting week since Keesha is on the fence with her current alliance. Will she turn on the girls and Ollie or will she do their dirty work? Stay tuned to find out!
