The Backstabbing Continues On I Love Money
August 24, 2008 I Love Money, VH1 2 CommentsYou would never think a show featuring “I Lovers” on VH1 would turn into one of the most crazy and backstabbing shows in a long time. On the last episode we learned that the show was going individual and thanks to that change, one of the biggest back stabs and blindsides took place. Following the leave of Rodeo, thanks to Megan, the alliances were set in their ways. Or so we thought, Megan was the only one to waiver as she began to fall more towards the remainder of the Stallionares, hoping they could protect her better then her all girl alliance.
For their first individual challenge the money lovers were going to stab each other in the back, literally. Each round everyone still in the game would throw a dagger at a dummy of another player. The first person with three daggers in their back would automatically go up for elimination while the last person remaining would be the Pay Master. The challenge went smoothly until the very end where Megan showed Pumpkin, Toastee and Brandi that she wasn’t sticking with the plan. When it came down to Real, 12 Pack and Toastee; one from each alliance; it was left to the two guys to take each other out. This gave Toastee the Pay Master role automatically, her second time for the show and one that had the ultimate power and safety.
On the way back to the house Hoopz, Real and Whiteboy were alone in a van with Megan. During that ride they welcomed her to their alliance, putting Megan in all three alliances at this point. Back at the house everyone was sucking up to Toastee and 12 Pack wanted to be sure she went home Whiteboy. He told her he’d go into the box just to make sure Whiteboy goes home. Bad idea buddy! Megan was also scheming but for the other side. Since Megan was starting to side with Whiteboy, she had to find a way to save him. She knew that Pumpkin, Brandi and Toastee wanted him gone badly and once she learned 12 Pack wanted in the elimination box her mind began to spin. Her first plan of action was to get Real, Hoopz and Whiteboy to apologize to Pumpkin and pull both her and Toastee back into the alliance. That they did and the two girls fell for it, putting Megan in the power seat once again and making her seem smarter then she looks.
In the vault it was time to put two more up for elimination along with Whiteboy. After a vote both 12 Pack and Entertainer were put into the box and were sent off with Toastee to their Power Outing. Here they had a hilarious “soul cleansing” where they got spit on and took him a turkey as a memento. Back at the house Megan used her powers of persuasion to get both Pumpkin and Brandi off the “get Whiteboy out” bandwagon. She told them that if they kept Entertainer and Whiteboy, the two alliances would still have someone to go after. Getting ride of 12 Pack would keep the target off of the four girls and keep them safe. After a little while the two girls agreed and when Toastee came back the plan was reiterated to her. It was all up to Toastee to decide though and it seemed she had a touch choice to make.
At the elimination ceremony Toastee first saved Entertainer. After bashing him a bit she gave him his check and was left with 12 Pack and Whiteboy standing in front of her. She at one point wanted to get rid of both and also gave 12 Pack her word during the power outing that he would stay. Toastee didn’t seem to care about that though as she went with the girls alliance and sent 12 Pack bouncing out of the game. It was interesting to see how quickly the target changed and how far backstabbing has gone so far. Will it continue next time? One can only hope!
