CBS, Greatest American Dog
1 Comment
Is it just me or did the latest Greatest American Dog seem more like Greatest American Top Model? With the theme of personality, the dogs essentially became models and it ended up in a very interesting expulsion. After last weeks leave of David and Elvis, few dogs and owners were upset. One was even relieved Elvis was gone and that was Ron. A few weeks ago his told Tillman and Elvis got into a spat so with the psycho dog gone it was all good in the Canine Academy.
During dinner Travis and Laura once again began to flirt. Brandi couldn’t help but notice and sat in during their entire conversation. It wasn’t really that interesting but the end was. When a few other players entered the kitchen Brandi was caught but she played it off well. She told Travis to keep chatting away with Laura while he asked her why he can’t talk to anyone else besides her. Someone made a comment towards the end but I sadly missed it. The next morning brought breakfast and showed two opposing ways of feeding the dogs in the house. While Beth Joy created her own vitamin filled food for Bella Starlet, Ron took the easy approach by filling up Tillman’s bowl with hearty dog food.
Good thing the dogs were practicing their eating as that was the main point of their next Dog Bone challenge. Each round the dogs would be given some type of food or item and their owner had to guess if their dog would pick up or eat that item. For the first round the producers pulled out juicy steak, taking out Laurie/Andrew and oddly enough Ron/Tillman. The second item was a stick and all but two pairs remained: JD/Galaxy and Laura/Preston. For the last temptation the dogs were asked to eat tofu. Although Galaxy normally doesn’t eat normal food, JD guessed he would eat it. Laura, on the other hand, said Preston wouldn’t eat the tofu but she was wrong. Since Preston licked the food, Galaxy and JD took home their second dog bone challenge and sent their biggest threat, Travis and Presley, to the Dog House.
Immediately following the Dog Bone challenge it was time to prepare for the Best of Show challenge. For the very first time it would be individual as the owners had to choose which word their dog would represent in a photo shoot. The teams and words were as follows: JD/Galaxy doing sneaky, Beth Joy/Bella Starlet doing mischievous, Bill/Star doing stubborn, Teresa/Leroy doing angry, Ron/Tillman doing lazy, Laurie/Andrew doing curious, Brandy/Beacon doing love, Travis/Presley doing joy and Laura/Preston doing regal.
Most of the owners had an easy time getting their ideas together but Bill and Teresa suffered the most it seems. Bill was VERY nervous about his first photo shoot with Galaxy and he found it hard to think of a pose or idea to represent stubborn. Being so close to Ron and Tillman seemed to help him though as he took a page from their playbook and tried to relax and go with the flow. On the other side was Teresa who had a hard time making her always happy day, Leroy, be angry. She had different methods to do so such as squirting him with lime water and putting a vacuum hose on him. He didn’t like that to much since he bit her, showing he does have some anger in him at least. In the end Laura gave her snarl bands which force the upper lip of the dog to stay up, making them look angry. She didn’t want to use them and used them as a last resort.
When it was time to shoot the photos Travis and Presley were up first. Since Presley is a boxer he loves to jump and that’s what Travis had him doing. When it came time to judging the one judge loved it while the other two found it rather boring as they’ve seen it so many times before. For Galaxy and sneakiness, JD pulled some props from the Dog Bone room and placed Galaxy in a bush/wilderness scene. The way Galaxy hunched his back impressed the judges so much that they named him best in show, rewarding with him with the chance to have the photo in the one magazine ran by the male judge. Pretty impressive! I’m surprised how well JD is doing, although he is a professional dog trainer so I can see why he’s doing so well.
For Laurie her idea for curious came pretty naturally for her and Andrew. Using a telescope she had Andrew peer into it, impressing all the judges and they agreed it would be hard for the type of breed Andrew is to do that. For Bella Starlet and Beth Joy the judges finally had high praises. By pulling off mischievous so well, Beth Joy rewarded Bella with all the bones she used in the photoshoot. Hope it doesn’t ruin her diet! Another one who did rather was Bill. Although he was nervous in the beginning, he pulled off a great stubborn pose by having Star stand there while he tugged on her leash. I didn’t get it at first but once it made sense it was pure greatness. Although she thought she pulled off her pose well, Laura and Preston weren’t a fan favorite of the judges. They though Preston’s simple, to the side, stance wasn’t regal enough but Laura barely squeaked through as she wasn’t in the bottom three.
Leaving only three left that means the remaining three were in the bottom three and could be sent home. Teresa pulled off the angry pose with Leroy very well in the picture, but the judges scolded her for using the snarl bands. Since she had such a hard time in the photoshoot Teresa pulled them out. She said she regretted it but it was too late. Brandi, who thought she was going home for the longest time, was loved by one judge and hated by the others. I must admit her photo of Beacon and love didn’t really show any love at all so there was no surprise she was on the bottom three. Probably the most surprising thing though was who was expelled and that was Tillman and Ron. They were a favorite of mine as they added much needed fun to the show. Ron decided to take the easy route and just let Tillman be Tillman at the lazy photoshoot. Using a black and white picture for his entry, the judges all agreed that he skimmped on the creativity part. One even called it the worst picture of a boxer ever, I’d probably have to agree.
Also CBS is running a “Make Your Dog Famous” section on the Greatest American Dog Website. If you want to find out more you can click here: Vote In Make Your Dog Famous. That’s my puppy Gabby, please vote for her then submit your own dogs for the site!

I Love Money, VH1
No Comments
On the last I Love Money a love triangle forced the game into more drama then its seen before. But on the latest outing the show went overboard with maneuvers and game play never seen before on a VH1 show. I’m surprised how much like Survivor and Big Brother the show is becoming and its adding a lot to it for sure. When the next morning after Heat’s removal comes, 12 Pack realizes his best friend is gone and it forces him to play the game. He decides to align with over half the other team, asking them to throw the challenge and he’ll vote out White Boy. 12 Pack knows, or thinks he knows, that he can do this since he wants to be captain for the next round. After approaching Boston, Brandi and Megan, 12 Pack’s plan gets a green light as they agree to align and agree to throw the challenge to get their teammate Whiteboy out of the house.
When the house gets the call for the challenge the captains are locked in. 12 Pack is easily chosen for the Gold Team while Chance steps up as captain for the Green Team. At a local soccer course the challenge is explained and everyone learns that Hottie’s stupidity is the basis of the challenge. On the Flavor of Love the girls were asked to cook an entire chicken for Flave’s mom. Hottie was the only one to microwave her chicken, causing a bit of a salmonella issue as it wasn’t cooked….. at all. For I Love Money that moment was fitted to a chicken capitulate mission that was split into two parts. After three teammates put together the catapult, the remaining four would have to catch five chickens using aprons. The first team to get five chickens on the dinner table would win and send one of the opposing members house.
On the Green Team the challenge throwing started early with Boston and Megan being two of the three members to build the catapult. They worked, or lack therefore, with Chance who basically put the catapult together himself. Over on the Gold Team was 12 Pack, Pumpkin and Toastee putting together the catapult. They worked well together and quickly put their slinging machine together, just as they planned it. While the Gold Team slung their chickens into the air, quickly catching three, the Green Team finally got theirs together. After quickly catching two it was obvious the plan might fail but Boston secretly screwed up a few chickens, forcing the team to go down hill from there. In the end the Gold Team just squeaked out a win. The only interesting part from the catchers was Rodeo getting slapped in the face by a flying chicken. She laughed it off with her famous cackle but since they won she didn’t seem to care too much.
Since the plan went as well…. planned most of the Green Team were happy with the loss. Only the Stallionaires were a bit angry and WhiteBoy seemed to realize the challenge was thrown. Chance and Whiteboy then went to intimidate Boston, hoping he would reveal their plan but he played sick, once again, and they left him alone after a few pranks. Once the two guys left him alone, Boston decided to celebrate with Brandi who just happened to be showering at the time. She didn’t like Boston joining her and it ended with a scream from Brandi and a laugh from Megan who was standing just outside.
While Brandi and Boston spent some not so fun time in the shower, Whiteboy took the time to talk to to Megan and wanted to see if the team threw the challenge. She says that she didn’t throw it but Whiteboy sees through her. He knows he’s on the chopping block and tried to make Megan realize that they had to keep the strong. That little chat seemed to flop Brandi’s thoughts as she agreed with him and agreed to Boston, Brandi and Destiney going up on the chopping block. The two then created a new alliance but if Brandi pulled through Whiteboy would have to do the same for her next time. Not sure exactly how that would happen since if Brandi doesn’t go into the Box next time then Whiteboy will have to put a stallionare in there. I really don’t see that happening.
The next morning Megan warns Brandi but basically told her to put herself in the box. She didn’t say much and just agreed to it but Boston didn’t. When Brandi told Boston that he may go in he didn’t take it to easily and wondered why she was going against the plan. When it was time to go into the vault, everyone voted for Boston/Brandi/Destiney to be up for elimination. Although Destiney and Brandi took the news easily, Boston didn’t. He grabbed his check in hopes of running the 15 minute time limit out and he almost pulled through with it. Following that little spat from Boston, Brandi easily put her check in while Destiney wouldn’t do it. Whiteboy grabbed at Boston, forcing the host to come in to stop any type of fight. After Destiney puts hers in more drama goes down as Boston still won’t put his in. With only 54 seconds left the check goes in the box and all hell breaks loose. Boston freaks on everyone, screaming at both Megan and Brandi. It wasn’t pretty and is hands down one of the biggest freak outs of any VH1 show.
Following the reveal of the three nominees to the Green Team Boston wanted to leave but its 12 Pack and the power outing that makes him stay. After crying for a few minutes he gave in and went to lunch. All 12 Pack wanted to do was find out who turned on who and he jumped right into things. While the girls were giving their side of the story Boston moved away from the table but he had a reason to. Brandi revealed she was the one who turned by voting for Boston and t seems pretty clear she’ll be going home. When he could choose one person to spend time with 12 Pack chose Boston. The two are friends and he trust Boston but his actions seem kind of strange to him. One thing came from the chat and that was Boston didn’t vote for WhiteBoy, which could have possibly saved him as Destiney also had three.
Back at the house 12 Pack called a team meeting to see who his team wanted to be kicked out. Although he wanted a team vote, 12 Pack revealed that he gave Destiney his word to keep her in. Pumpkin and Toastee didn’t agree with that as he wanted a team vote yet wouldn’t vote out Destiney if they wanted to. They claim that he wanted to vote out the biggest competitor out of the three and his mind flips when he realizes that. Pumpkin realizes that 12 Pack wants to keep Destiney as she’s “dating” Entertainer and flips out in her normal way. After slamming the door about 20 times Pumpkin pulls out another famous quote which I won’t mention here in hopes of keeping this as PG as possible.
At the elimination it was time for 12 Pack to choose either Brandi, Boston or Destiney to bounce. When allowed to give a few words before 12 Pack chose, Brandi opened up about throwing the challenge. Boston didn’t reveal at first that he threw the challenge but after Brandi told everyone about the plan Boston opened up to say that Megan was involved as well. The two kiddies, Brandi and Boston, continued to fight calling each other names which kind of caused 12 Pack to give Destiney her check first. With that there were two left to go: Brandi and Boston. In the end 12 Pack chose to save Brandi, forcing Boston’s check to bounce. Although the two were friends it is a game and Boston was forced to leave the mansion and the game.

CBS, Greatest American Dog
No Comments
Following last weeks Greatest American Dog we returned to the house with drama, drama and more drama. Last week Beth Joy was told that her dog shouldn’t be wearing a dress and she also mentioned that Laurie put “top knots” on her dog. Laurie came back when the judges left and argued that top knots aren’t anything close to a dress and it set Beth Joy off so much that she just had to leave.
The next morning everyone was spending time in the pool and was scared to death when David left Elvis off of his leash. Nobody, except for Laurie, felt safe with Elvis around their dogs since last week he attacked Tillman. Luckily Laurie’s dog Andrew felt calm around Elvis and played, which he normally doesn’t do. It was interesting to see Laurie’s way of handling Andrew and hopefully it will rub off a bit on David and Elvis.
Later that day the pairs were told that the weeks theme was teamwork. They were randomly paired up and the teams were Laurie/Bill, JD/David, Teresa/Beth Joy, Travis/Brandy and Ron/Laura. What the teams had to do was untie several knots using their dog. They could only use their voices to command their dog and couldn’t touch them at all. The winning pair would win the Dog Bone challenge and share the lavish bedroom. While most of the teams worked well together, JD and David had trouble thanks to David’s dog Elvis. Pairing the two together is rather interesting since JD is a pro at training dogs while David is obviously not. Laurie and Bill seemed the complete opposite while they worked extremely well together and were as calm as could be. For Travis and Brandy things weren’t looking too good. Brandy screamed for a “hot dog” several times while Travis took a calmer route, they just couldn’t get things together.
When it came close to the end it was a close finish with Travis/Brandy and Laurie/Bill neck and neck. Travis and Brandy just squeaked it out though, putting Travis in the lavish room for another week and this time sharing it with Brandy. When it came time for the Dog House choice they briefly discussed it and chose Laurie. She asked them for a reason but they wouldn’t give her one. I for one feel they see her as a threat, not only her dog but her as well.
Laurie didn’t take going to the Dog House too well and realized they saw her as a threat. In the lavish room Brandy went kind of insane. I mean she DID win a nice room but you don’t have to be that excited about it. Travis knew people would see him as a threat because of the room and decided to just give it entirely to Brandy. It was a good move on his part and just made Brandy that more annoying.
Knowing he didn’t have many friends in the house, David took Elvis outside to play. He wanted to prove to people that it was safe for Elvis to run free and thankfully he didn’t chew Tillman’s ear of this time. The next day it wasn’t the dogs who were becoming friends but rather their human masters. Travis and Laura became close lately and both love the others dogs. It’s weird to see them getting close though since her dog is the smallest there while Travis’ dog is the largest.
For the Best In Show it was time for some obstacles. Since they won the Dog Bone challenge, Travis and Brandy were team captains and got to choose the teams. For Travis’ team it was himself, Laura, JD, Bill and Beth Joy while on Brandy’s team it was Brandy, Teresa, Rob, David and Laurie. On Brandy’s team they couldn’t really decide on what to do and it seems like Laurie took the lead. On Travis’ team they all felt that their dogs were spread out equally for the given obstacles which seemed like they would be the better of the two.
Back over on Brady’s team they decided to be more entertaining then trained. They didn’t seem to have a great grasp on how the obstacles should be spread out for each dog since well, they didn’t have a good range of dogs. Most were small which meant they had less options for some of the obstacles. Over on Travis’ team they had a premade choice with Galaxy and the frisbee’s. Bill seemed to take the lead by helping Laura and Preston in the tunnels. Of course Bella Starlet sucked at the obstacles since she isn’t anything but a “pretty face” and Beth Joy is really letting her team down.
When it came time for the Best In Show challenge the judges, for once, came outside to watch the obstacle course. After being told someone from the slowest team would be expelled, Travis’ team was up first. Galaxy failed at his specialty and grabbed a frisbee on his second try. Bella Starlet was up next and took longer then expected to jump through the hoops. Travis and Bill quickly led their dogs through their obstacles which meant it was all up to Laura and Preston. Preston had trouble earlier in the tunnel but pulled through this time by pulling through without any problems. It was then time for the final, all dog sled pull and the team worked well together with a time of 2 minutes and 52 seconds.
Brandy’s team was then next and they had much to prove. Teresa’s dog quickly caught the frisbee while Laurie’s dog, Andrew, pulled through the rings much faster then Bells Starlet. When it came to Tillman and pushing the cart he decided to bite it more then push it. Although he finished it quickly it was David and Elvis who held the team up. Although Elvis did well in practice he fell off several times when it mattered and ate up some valuable time. Brandy had little trouble leading Beacon through the tube and the team finished strong with the sled pull. It was a close race so it was hard to know who would bring home the win.
When everyone returned to the Best of Show arena it was revealed that by only a few seconds, Travis’ team pulled through with the win and safety. This means someone from Brandy’s team would be expelled. For Brandy the judges were happy that Beacon pulled through in something she was scared of. Ron had a bit of a beating by saying Tillman lacked a bit while the judges felt Laurie was giving Andrew an advantage by ripping the paper on the ring. For David and Elvis the judge felt Elvis was being smothered and hoped he would let him go on his own a little more. They also felt being on a leash for Elvis was a bad idea and Laurie mentioned that David was the only one on the leash. David spoke up in defense but Laurie let the judges know that Elvis had been biting dogs, and that’s the reason he was on a leash. One judge didn’t like to hear that but obviously it’s a game and they just don’t understand that.
After a few minutes of deliberation the judges decided that Laurie/Andrew, David/Elvis and Ron/Tillman would be the final three. The only returning to the final three was David while Ron and Laurie were newbies to the block. The judges felt that David should learn to be off of the leash while they felt that Ron doesn’t treat Tillman like a teammate. For Laurie they felt she played the game too safe by tearing the paper on the ring. After those comments the pair who was expelled ended up being David and Elvis. It was sad to see the two go as both human and dog were learning so much by being in the game.

ABC, The Mole
1 Comment
After last weeks double execution/bribery the Mole returned with only eight players. It seems most were sad to see both Bobby and Ali go as they became fairly close to them. Only one voiced a negative point to leaving and that was Nicole. She thought Bobby was in deed the mole and realized she now had to re-evaluate her strategy in order to stay in the game. Other then that everyone who talked was crying for those two to go as they felt they lost two close allies and friends.
The next morning everyone was driven to Argentina, their next location in the journey. In the Andes mountains the eight broke into two teams of four each. Nicole, Victoria, Kristen and Clay became the “selfish” team while Craig, Mark, Paul and Alex became the “selfless” team. John then explained to everyone how the Inca used to carry gold up the Andes mountains for the Spanish. Their mission was to do just though, carry bars of gold up the Andes Mountains. Each gold bar weighed about 5 pounds and for each that made it to the top $250 would be added to the pot. Oh there was one more thing, the first team to make it up the mountain got a chance for a small little reward: exemptions.
When the two teams started to grab their bricks it was obvious who the selfish team was. They wanted to take up the least amount of bricks they could so they could be the first up the mountain. Kristen ended up taking more then half the selfish teams bricks while Clay took five although he claims he could have taken twelve. For the selfless team it was obvious they wouldn’t be up for considering Craig was on their team. They made the decision to grab as many bricks as they could and started up the mountain a few minutes after the selfish team.
As the selfish team started up Nicole made it seem as if she was tired. She says she wants people to think she’s the mole, casting doubt on her and less on the real mole. It’s smart but really could come back to bite her. As they got half way up the Andes John was waiting for them and told them they now had to carry a scale the rest of the way. Two scales were available, one weighing ten 10 pounds and another weighing at least 20 pounds. They had to decide which scale to take based on looks along and the selfish team chose right as they picked the lighter of the two.
The selfless team wasn’t having as big of a problem as they thought as Craig was keeping up. Although Mark complained a bit they mostly worked well together. At the mid-way mark they took the heavier scale, leaving a few bricks behind, and started back up the mountain. Mark wasn’t too happy about Kristen taking the lighter one but continued on. But as the second scale and second team head up the mountain the selfish team was just finishing. They made it to the top with around 25 bricks and were happy with their choice. A little later with only 30 seconds to spare, the selfless team crossed the finish line and all the bricks were tallied, adding $14,000 to the pot. Well at least for the time being.
Knowing their exemption came at a cost, the selfish team waited to hear what they would have to do. John told them only one of the four would get the exemption and the four had to decide unanimously who would get it or they had to forfeit the exemption AND all the money they just made. After a few minutes they decided Clay should get it. Although the girls thought Kristen deserved it more, Clay complained the loudest. Some thought it was moleish behaviour but I’m not so sure.
As if the drama wasn’t enough thanks to the mission, while hiking down the mountain Craig didn’t do so well. At the bottom an ambulance was called in as Craig had trouble breathing. They said he went in and out of consciousness and was diagnosed with hypothermia from the cold and low air pressure. Everyone seems a bit worried about him but he still worried about the game. When Craig returned he was told that he had to stay warm and rest but he still worried some would think his trip to the ER was him playing a mole game.
The next day everyone woke up ready to play. Alex and Victoria had a small chat as we learn he thinks she may be the mole. They both thought coalitions wouldn’t last but we all know Alex has one with Paul. That night at dinner John asked everyone for their journals. As they ate they worried what would happen to them, especially Mark. His whole game is in that journal and without it he feels there is no more game to play. Little did they know the journals were their next mission as John returned with the journals still in tact.
The next mission was a rather fun one as it had to deal with quotes in the journals. Each player was told a quote and asked to guess who said that in their journal. Five of the seven questions were guessed correctly but one didn’t count. Nicole continued her fake (or real?) sabotage streak by coughing and blinking at the quote that was hers. This put several more people on her for being the mole. If she really isn’t though she’s one great actress. Since John rounded the pot up to $144,000 and four questions were correct,
Directly following desert everyone was led outside. They were then asked for one person to take a risk a sacrifice their journal. Nicole, Alex and Paul all said they would give theirs in but Alex’s journal was chosen to be sacrificed. John then pulled out a torch and waved it over Alex’s journal but didn’t torch it. He then asked Alex to collect all the other journals and set them on the table. As he did so the table was lit on fire, setting everyone but Alex’s journal into flames. This made Mark angry and he seemed to waver on quitting. His whole game and life in the game was based on his journal. With it gone he didn’t seem to have the will to play anymore. He even went missing for a short time but showed up in order to return back to base camp.
After that short melt down it was then time for the quiz and execution. Craig returned to the dinner table and everyone got ready to take the quiz. A few people seemed to change their tune on the mole. Alex and Paul along with Nicole feel Victoria is the mole while others felt it was Nicole. The only real strategy for the quiz we got to hear was Nicole’s. She said that she will answer as quickly as possible in order to win in the case of a tie. It was good she did that too as John let everyone know pre-execution that there was in fact a tie. Only 5 seconds were split between the two and in the event of the tie, the person who answered the quiz slower would be executed. It ended up being Victoria to get the green thumb and sent packing. She said she expected it but most mouths dropped. She was the biggest mole suspect yet and once again the suspect was sent home.
Next week it seems Craig is given some power that some don’t like. Nicole is put into a lama costume with Paul, her favorite person. Now that should be some great reality television! It seems Paul is getting on some more nerves as everyone thinks he’s a trouble maker. Um having we been seeing that since the first episode?
Read the rest and discuss with fellow fans!

Last weeks Mole left us with some things to ponder. Like would Nicole really kill Paul in sleep and could she REALLY do it without leaving DNA evidence? The answer to both these questions is no as Paul was still alive come the next day. Good thing Nicole didn’t go through with it though since now we get to see her and Paul continue their feud! The next morning everyone, including Paul, awoke and Nicole’s tirade was the talk of the town. Paul wanted to use it to his advantage and Ali ate it up. She finally spoke for once and let us know that her hatred for Nicole is growing along with Paul’s. It seems the cliques are starting early and we learn about a new coalition that’s apparently been on for the past two episodes. Mark, Bobby and Clay are now in a coalition to share information on who they think is the Mole. Of course it won’t last long though as we soon find out.
In the first mission the players are forced into two sides, the “Can’t Trust” and “Blindly Trusts” groups. They then had to pair up with someone from the opposite side, creating five teams of two. The mission was fairly simple yet risky. Each pair would luge down a metal track with the person in the front blindfolded. The person in the back had to yell out pictures of fruit that they saw and the person who was blindfolded would then have to pick out those fruits in put them in order. For each fruit they got right, $2,000 would be put into the pot. They had strict orders to not talk after they passed the finish line but of course that wasn’t the case for some.
First up was Bobby and Clay. Bobby was the one yelling out the fruit and seemed confusing as he didn’t yell out the colors right away. They got 5/7 right but talked after crossing the finish line so they got no money. Next up was Ali and Paul who got a legitimate 5/7 for the team. Victoria and Craig broke the “no talking” rule as well and lost $14,000 as they got all seven fruits right but broke the rules. Kristen and Mark were the first to get all seven right and actually keep the money while Alex and Nicole had an interesting ride. She yelled out “green apple” twice which put Alex off by one for the fruit selection. This gained them one point and made everyone wonder how she could screw up so badly.
That night the coalition between Bobby and Clay/Mark ended. Clay and Mark now believe Bobby to be the mole and want nothing to do with him. Although they say they will talk to him if he comes to them, they won’t go to him for anymore information. The day the crew heads out for a nice spa retreat. Of course they all thought something was up but it seemed legit… at first. They spent some time in the pool and hot tub and then some time getting massages. Of course John showed up to screw things up and start their next mission.
Once again the players were split up. Kristen, Victoria and Ali made up one team, Bobby, Craig and Nicole another and the last team consisted of Bobby and Alex. Once Mark and Clay found out what the challenge was they dropped out because they had too much “pride” apparently. John then filled them in on the mission, they had to walk around Chile in their underwear looking for a shirt, tie and pants for the guys and a two piece shirt and skirt/pants for the girls. Alex and Paul had the easiest time once again thanks to Alex’s knowledge of Spanish. They quickly found shirts from cab drivers and pants from a few Americans. Kristen, Victoria and Ali had the hardest time it seemed. They couldn’t’ find any clothing for the longest time and Ali even almost quit. This put suspicion on both Kristen and Victoria but they kept moving and eventually got lucky enough to get fully dressed for dinner. In the third and find team was Nicole, who found her clothing faster then anyone, and Bobby and Craig. The two guys had a hard time finding clothing but once they want the laundry mat with their real clothing they were all set. Since 8/9 people made it to dinner they claimed an extra $40,000 for the pot putting them at $129,000 for the entire game.
That night at the pre-quiz dinner things got pretty heated. It all started when Paul said that Mark was playing the game hardcore and the two then went at it for a bit. Bobby, Craig and Nicole then barged in and Nicole’s statement from the last execution came into play. Of course she played the ‘nice’ card, which angered Paul a bit, but he had different plans. He wanted to get everyone heated before the quiz in hopes it would screw up their chances for a green thumb.
At the execution something interesting happened. John offered everyone $20,000 to leave the game right then and there, nobody bit the bait. Three people were then shown to be safe and another $10,000 added to the bribe. Ali was the first to take the $30,000 and walked out of the game. Funny thing is they all thought they were safe since she left and Bobby even said he wouldn’t take the money. John then came back and let them all know someone else was still going home. Bobby was then shown to get the red thumb and his words came back to bite him. Did Paul take out his biggest enemy by causing a ruckus at dinner? Who knows but something got to Bobby. That takes two more out of the game and puts us at the final eight. Next week it seems the drama continues as Mark’s crazy side is revealed, probably thanks to Paul.

Paradise Hotel 2
5 Comments
After several weeks, several new guests and several twists and turns, Paradise Hotel 2 finally comes to a close. Tonight the final two couples of TD/Ryan and Stephanie/Zack faced off against the seven judges of Paradise to crown the winner. It all started off with a lengthy recap showing last weeks drama and how all four of those left in the finales were targeted and argued with someone. The next morning Stephanie and TD realized their actions were stupid and once again became friends. It seems this happened throughout the whole season once the hangover wore off.
The seven judges then convened to question the two couples and to see how they should vote. Mike and Krista both targeted TD as they blamed her for their demise the night before. Both got an answer they didn’t expect and that was TD apologizing and basically saying she didn’t push Ryan to vote them out but he agreed with her that was the move to make. James’ comment got a few jaws to drop as he asked Steph if she was “sleeping her way to the top” since she “crushed” with both finalists: Ryan and Zack. The said she didn’t but it just seemed to end up that way. Myrna’s question once again brought up Zack’s mention of why he would be mean to her. He told her it was done to make sure people didn’t believe the two were together. He said they all hated her so he had to hate her to “fit it”, she didn’t like that too much.
The four were then given the chance to say one final statement to all voters. Zack was first and let them all know that he was loyal to everyone he gave his word to and everyone that gave their word was loyal to him. Stephanie was up first and gave a really good reason why people should vote for her and Zack. She let each of them know what she will take back with her and how they changed her since she entered the hotel. TD was next and gave a very tear filled speech as to why she played the game the way she did. She was right as she shouldn’t feel guilty that she is in the finals and that she shouldn’t feel guilty for speaking her mind and I think some of the judges were swayed by this. Ryan was last to go and actually had something to say. He only spoke to Krista and Mike, the two he hurt the most, and let them know he is sorry. He wasn’t asking for their vote but only asking them to forgive him.
That night it was then time to crown the winner and that the judges did. Each were asked to pick the couple they want to see win the grand prize and in a close vote of 4 - 3, Zack and Stephanie were crowned the winners of Paradise Hotel 2. Like the previous season the win came with a twist as TD and Ryan were given the power to crown only one winner between Stephanie and Zack. That winner would receive an envelope containing the prize. Although it seemed they would pick Stephanie, both decided to give Zack the title of winner of Paradise Hotel. He was then shocked with another twist that allowed him to split the money between himself and two others in any amount he chose. He was given $200,000 to either keep or he could split it between one or two other people from the judges and the other final players.
After some deliberation Zack made his chose and decided to split his prize money between both TD and Stephanie. He gave TD $20,000 and then split the remaining between himself and Stephanie evenly. This gave both Stephanie and Zack $90,000 each and also gave them the share in the win. That concludes Paradise Hotel 2 and the drama that came along with it. I was kind of surprised to see Zack win after coming back into the game for a third time and then so generously splitting his money. It was a great run for the show and hopefully it will be back for a third season. If you aren’t done with Paradise Hotel 2 yet you can catch the reunion on Fox Reality. Once I see it I’ll be sure to rehash all that went down!
Now that the shows over and Zack won the game what do you all think? Leave a comment and discuss if Zack deserved to win and if his split was right.
