Big Brother 10, CBS

Tonight one of the more dramatic eviction exits took place on Big Brother 10. With a fake secret message and some acting, it could change the way the game is played in the finals as alliances crumble all in a matter of minutes. Following the nominations last round of Jerry and Memphis, the Renegade alliance of Dan and Memphis were looking pretty well off. What the nominations did was split Keesha and Jerry to one of the Renegades, making the Power of Veto pretty much controllable no matter who won it. Keesha sided with Dan as she felt he would take her to the finals now that he didn’t put her him. Jerry continued to trust Memphis as the two were on the block together and now had a common enemy in Dan. Or so Jerry thought.
Later in the week Dan was given his trip, with Michelle, to a private beach. As he passed buy a gas station he noticed the price of $2.89. With “such a low price” Dan thought the economy was doing well…… he’ll be surprised when he gets out for good! As Dan flew across the ocean on the helicopter and worried how Michelle would react. She didn’t know who chose him and was shocked when she saw Dan jump from behind the helicopter. They both hugged and had a rather akward lunch but both seemed to have fun. Obviously Dan was grasping for a jury vote and actually asked Michelle if he has a chance at winning. Michelle wouldn’t really say and very little was spoken about the jury house. Michelle seemed to have fun and Dan may have won her over. We won’t know for sure until next Tuesday and that’s only if Dan is in the finals of course.

After last week’s chaos of an eviction episode I wasn’t sure how to approach this one. I knew the votes were kind of up in the air this wee so I was glad to finally be out of the loop when it came to who was being evicted. The opening sequence kind of made things even more confusing by showing the votes go back and forth as they did all week. I was glad to see how the show was actually edited and give CBS props for putting together a show that finally recapped what actually happened in the house.
Joshuah opened the sequence with his crying out to Adam over the pizza. We all know Josh is on slop this week and he wanted to pull a Jen, well kind of. Josh thought that if he ate he would get an auto nom for last week and people would want to evict Sharon over him since he would be nominated anyway. What he didn’t realize at first was that he would not get an auto nom, but rather an auto vote against him this week. He then changed gears and ‘cried’ to Adam, hoping for the sympathy vote that he needed.
When Natalie thought things out a bit she realized Joshuah’s deal was more or less just to keep him safe. She then told Sharon that Joshuah was campaigning against her, making Sharon angry for the first time in the game. Sharon was then brought in and the girls alliance was officially made to combat the pending ‘battle of the sexes’. Knowing she now wanted Joshuah to go and Sharon to stay, Natalie worked on both Ryan and Adam. She pulled Sharon and Ryan aside to make them trust each other. Apparently they haven’t talked all game yet gained each others trust in a matter of minutes. Um since when does this happen? Adam basically went along with anything the others did, so it made sense that Joshuah would be the one to go with James being the only one voting for him to stay.
Knowing that Joshuah would go, the producers found it best to put in an interview with Joshuah’s mom. I’m sure they were just waiting for this and figured it was their last chance to air it. She basically told us how Joshuah isn’t at all like this. Of course he doesn’t act like that around you, no kids do! It was funny to see his mom actually bash Joshuah though. She explained how she couldn’t watch some of the things he’s been saying but seemed to kidding around at the same time. I’m sure his mom will have some choice words for him when he gets home, if they only could film that!
It then came time for the eviction. I found it funny how Joshuah told Sharon, in front of all America, that he would never campaign against her. I mean he did that ALL week long, yet still finds it smart to lie to her, knowing she probably does know. When Julie asked Sharon how she felt about what Josh just said I waited for some comeback such as “well Julie, I know he’s been campaigning and lieing all week, but I still love him”. Only the later part of that quote came out of Sharon’s mouth. And for once she made a statement without starting it with “GGGGGGGGODDDDDDDD”.
When the votes were in only James in fact did vote for Josh to stay and he walked out of the house. Before doing so though he gave some “inspirational words” to the houseguests in hopes to go out in a classier way then Chelsia. Come on now Josh! We WANT an explosive eviction, what would it have hurt you are evicted anyway! He didn’t really have anything interesting to say to Julie other then his head exploding. I’m surprised it fit throughout he door. Where does he come off thinking he was the ‘toughest player’ in the house. Sure you may have thought that Josh but it just isn’t true!!!
The HoH was “More… or less” and was basically made for Natalie… yet she couldn’t compete. It had to do with the number of certain items, such as pillows and mirrors, in the house. Julie would give them a number and they had to guess if that number was actually more or less then the real total. In the end it looked like Sharon would pull out a win but both James and Adam caught up. In the very last question Sharon and James both chose the wrong answer and gave Adam his second HoH win. With Adam once again in power, will Natalie rule his HoH again and will this kill off the girl alliance? It should be an interesting week. We all know Adam isn’t scared to make crazy nominations so who knows who will go up this week. Although my bet is on James and Sharon. But if history repeats itself James won’t be up there come next Wednesday.
