The Food Networks highly rated show “The Next Food Network Star” is now searching for a season 5 cast. The show is looking for a cast who wants to be a TV star and competing for the chance to host their own cooking show on Food Network. Those who apply must have cooking knowledge, a great personality and the ability to teach others how to cook. In a change of pace this week I’m showcasing a show that is searching for a host. The show is looking for a female host between late 20’s and 40’s and loves to cook All American food. The person applying must have experience cooking as the show is looking for a cook, chef, author or culinary graduate who is down to earth. There really isn’t much else being said about the show but more about what type of host the show is looking for. So if you are a woman who loves to cook and want to try your hand on TV then try out and apply!
If you’ve never seen the Ace of Cakes on the Food Network you are really missing out. Now I know when you think of the Food Network you aren’t thinking “hey there is a good reality show on there!” but you’d be wrong! The Ace of Cakes is one of the most fun reality shows I’ve seen in awhile. The show follows the crazy cake creations of Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, Maryland. Now they don’t make just any cakes, they make cakes that don’t even look like cakes! It’s a very fun show, following the decorators of the show, the owner Duff and his receptionist (who has the best moments) Mary Alice. They bicker, they laugh and well they make cakes! It’s a really interesting show that’s more about the people then the cakes, but still the cakes are what make the show. It’s amazing some of the things they make and I tune in almost every week to find out what they are up to at Charm City Cakes. To get a feel for the show I’m going to embed a clip below.
