Lost Bag Forces Fan Favorite Out Of Amazing Race 13

Amazing Race, CBS No Comments

Last week a non elimination leg saved frat boys Andrew and Dan. This week there was no saving the final four teams as they embarked on their second to last leg. The teams remained in Moscow, Russia and their first task was to find a submarine. Toni/Dallas, Ken/Tina, and Nick/Starr all found the submarine at the same time. They searched inside for the actor who filmed a movie inside the submarine and all found the man at the same time. After receiving their clues it was off to a Fallen Park for the next Road Block. Dan and Andrew arrived last and were there alone. After finding their clue they went to the streets for a taxi where a truck splashed water all over them. They weren’t too upset though as it isn’t the worst that’s happened to them on the race. They knew it was only a matter of time something like that would happen and hoped that was the last for the day.

In the Fallen Monument Graveyard it was time for the Road Block. Nick and Starr arrived first and read the clue. It was probably the hardest task in any Amazing Race as they first had to solve a number puzzle, counting the number of Lennon and Stalin heads in the grounds. They then had to find a bookstore, give the woman the number and receive a book. After getting the book they then had to use the page number, 62, to find a clue to the author of the book’s house. There they would get their next clue. Nick found most of the clues early and was off to the bookstore. Dallas and Tina were doing the challenge around the same time and both were foreshadowed for losing their passports. Dan and Andrew arrived last after going to the round park. Who would of thought they would of done that? While the other three searched for the clues, Nick found the book and was on his way to the author’s house. Dallas was the next to try the bookstore and guessed wrong with 36. Nick was the first to find the building, allowing he and Starr to move on and the others still doing the Road Block.

Frat Boys Saved By Non Elimination On Amazing Race

Amazing Race, CBS No Comments

From Kazakhstan to Russia, the teams race, fight and have some overall craziness. After leaving the Pit Stop all the teams met up in the airport. There flight didn’t leave until the morning so it gave a nice equalizer for the final four teams. Dallas and Starr continued their romance in the airport once again. Nick didn’t seem phased though as he thinks Dallas won’t let the relationship hurt the game. Dan and Andrew also had some fun in the airport and a few laughs at their expense. Last episode they left their shoes at the Detour, forcing them to steal slippers from the hotel At the airport they found a shoe store that is open 24 hours a day. They each bought a new pair of sneakers but at a higher cost then they had hoped. The two didn’t have very much money to begin with and heading to Moscow they realized they could be in some trouble.

Landing in Moscow the teams raced for taxi’s. Dan and Andrew were the first to get one while the others follwed. Although they were the first two out, Dan/Andrew and Ken/Tina had issues with their taxi drivers, letting the other two teams get ahead. At the Moscow Monastery they were asked to first light a candle before receiving their clue. The clue told them to head to a Russian Military Base for their next task. Dan/Andrew finally found the monastery followed close behind by Ken/Tina. Toni and Dallas were first to make it to the military base and found it was a Detour. They had to either march with a crew or serve food to 75 military guys. Toni and Dallas quickly finished the marching Detour, putting them in first and in front of Starr/Nick. Ken/Tina and Dan/Andrew arrived at the same time and both chose to do the marching task. Andrew had some issues getting his socks on so they decided to switch Detours. Only problem was they needed the outfit for both and wasted valuable time by taking off the suit and then having to put it right back on.

Hoopz Wins ‘I Love Money’ & The Quarter Million Dollars

I Love Money, VH1 6 Comments

After several weeks, many eliminations and two quitters, Hoopz won I Love Money with a comeback win over Whiteboy. On the last elimination episode both Toastee and Pumpkin were eliminated, leaving the final four of Real, Hoopz, Whiteboy and Megan. All three wanted to win but with Megan the only one not in the alliance she realized that the only way to make it to the end would be to win the role of Pay Master. At the final Pay Master challenge the final four reenacted a fond moment from Flavor of Love 2. In that season Buckeyee almost pushed Krazy over the balcony and they were about to do the same.

For the challenge the fastest person to carry a Krazy doll over a suspended pathway, throw the doll over the balcony at the end and then return to the other side would win. Megan was up first and after getting halfway across the platform she fell, dropping the Krazy doll and disqualifying her. Hoopz was up next and although she quickly got across and threw Krazy over the balcony, she forgot to return and that hurt her time. Next up was Real and after completing the task only a few seconds past Hoopz’s time he was no longer in the running. That left Whiteboy to try his hand and with a time of 16 seconds he beat Hoopz out to become the final Pay Master of the game.

Keesha Goes Out With A Bang On Big Brother 10

Big Brother 10, CBS No Comments

Tonight one of the more dramatic eviction exits took place on Big Brother 10. With a fake secret message and some acting, it could change the way the game is played in the finals as alliances crumble all in a matter of minutes. Following the nominations last round of Jerry and Memphis, the Renegade alliance of Dan and Memphis were looking pretty well off. What the nominations did was split Keesha and Jerry to one of the Renegades, making the Power of Veto pretty much controllable no matter who won it. Keesha sided with Dan as she felt he would take her to the finals now that he didn’t put her him. Jerry continued to trust Memphis as the two were on the block together and now had a common enemy in Dan. Or so Jerry thought.

Later in the week Dan was given his trip, with Michelle, to a private beach. As he passed buy a gas station he noticed the price of $2.89. With “such a low price” Dan thought the economy was doing well…… he’ll be surprised when he gets out for good! As Dan flew across the ocean on the helicopter and worried how Michelle would react. She didn’t know who chose him and was shocked when she saw Dan jump from behind the helicopter. They both hugged and had a rather akward lunch but both seemed to have fun. Obviously Dan was grasping for a jury vote and actually asked Michelle if he has a chance at winning. Michelle wouldn’t really say and very little was spoken about the jury house. Michelle seemed to have fun and Dan may have won her over. We won’t know for sure until next Tuesday and that’s only if Dan is in the finals of course.

Dan Continues His Winning Streak On Big Brother 10

Big Brother 10, CBS No Comments

When have you ever seen a gorilla in the Big Brother house? Well there is a first time for everything and that’s just the beginning! With one final twist BB10 is proving to be one of the best in a long time as it comes to a close. Following Renny’s eviction the final four both celebrated and cried. Dan seemed happy to see Renny go as he knew she couldn’t be beaten in the finals. Keesha took it the worst as she cried alone outside. She filled us in that Renny was her only tie in the game and now she is alone. Maybe her and Jerry can be alone together?

After the last Head of Household where Dan won, the houseguests were confronted with a sumo wrestler. After Dan stole the envelope from underneath the sumo’s butt the luxury competition was on! Sadly they had to wait for the next day to encounter even more strange things but we’ll get to that in a moment. But while they waited the houseguests discussed somethings and killed a moth. Jerry was on a “keep me roll” by telling Memphis the jury would vote Keesha over any of them. He seemed to buy it but then again Memphis has lied to Jerry before. Later that night it was time to feed the……. spider. Memphis and Dan both grabbed some moths and throw them into their pet spiders web. Keesha didn’t want anything to do with it going into her PETA mode but the boys didn’t care. The spider went to town on the moth, putting some education into Big Brother for once!

The next morning another pet, a  gorilla, entered the house. Well it wasn’t a REAL gorilla but rather Jessie in a costume. With the luxury competition the houseguests had to decipher a phrase from several items in the backyard. With a contortionist, giant elephant, a tub of god knows what and a stuffed dog it really could have been anything. But with Jessie, I mean the gorilla, in the backyard things got a bit simpler. Jessie covered up items that didn’t have anything to do with the challenge until only two remained.

Jerry used up all of his three guesses before most of the items were covered up and made guesses that had nothing to do with the game. By guessing “diamonds are a girls best friend” and “hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil” Jerry was clueless and obviously not winning the luxury comp. Keesha also gave some odd answers such as “blew-it”. Yeah you sure did blow it Keesha! Memphis answered only once, simply because he had to. He said “fruitless exit” whatever that means. Dan was the only one to make sense with his answer by saying “bury the hatchet”. By guessing that it gave him the luxury win and a great one at that. Dan’s reward is that he gets to go to a private beach for a day and can take one person along with him. The catch is that he can take either one of the final four with him or one of the jury members. Since he didn’t want to anger the house, and possibly gain a jury vote, so Dan choice Michelle to travel to the private beach. It was smart as she is angry at him but then again it could always backfire.

With the luxury fun over it was time for the nominations. Before Dan would pull the single key of safety he had a little chat with Memphis. Memphis didn’t want to go up, obviously not realizing it didn’t matter who went up, but in the end Dan persuaded him that Memphis going up was the best case. It would make Jerry and Keesha think they didn’t have any deals and for Dan it would also put some good karma his way with Keesha. In the end Dan did just that by placing Jerry and Memphis on the block. Find out Tuesday night who wins the Power of Veto and details on Dan’s trip with Michelle. Will it pay off the way he wanted it to? Remember the show is LIVE on Tuesday at a new time, 8pm est.

The Mole Executes Its Final Victim Before Finale

ABC, The Mole 2 Comments

With the Mole down to its final four and the identity of the Mole still pretty much a secret things were sure to get interesting. Last week everyone was shocked to learn that Clay was executed but all four were still glad to be in the game. Each had a different strategy for who the Mole was but the missions are what really brought things out in the open. Jumping right into the first mission it was time to bring out the technology that the Mole is known for. Before starting the four were asked to select two “kids at heart” with Paul and Craig being chosen. Paul thought he would be able to work with Craig for once but John switched things up a bit. Each kid at heart would have to work with another person, creating two pairs of one kid at heart and one not kid at heart. They kept the usual pairs which were Paul/Mark and Craig/Nicole.

For the mission each pair would have to complete a set of tasks that were meant for kids. The only catch was the kid at heart would be wearing goggles that were hooked up to a video camera that their partner would be operating. Essentially they could only see what their partner showed them and everything would be backwards. The first task was fairly simple: putting blocks into the hole that they were shaped for. Paul had a fairly easy time getting all the blocks together while Craig stumbled a bit. On this task Paul showed some Mole behaviour by blaming “noise” in the camera while Nicole kept an odd angle on the block and also spoke when she wasn’t allowed to.

The next task was a bit harder and neither Craig nor Paul finished it. They had to kick two soccer balls into a goal. Mark seemed to think Paul was acting Moleish at this point while Nicole though Craig was too since they felt the soccer kick should be rather easy. For the third task both Paul and Craig had to pour tea into four small teacups without dumping any tea. Paul ended up getting two out of the three he filled while Craig only got one. He bumped the table which seemed Moleish for sure but then again Nicole kept wiggling the camera. For the fourth and final task the producers once again put the players into the air. Paul and Craig had to first walk across half a plank that was supsended between two buildings. After they picked up a piece of chalk they had only one minute to cross the rest of the plank and right down the phrase at the end. Paul finished with only a few seconds to spare while Craig got to the end of the plank just as time ran out. In the end Paul/Mark added $18,000 to the pot while Craig/Nicole added $4,500.

During the break between missions it seemed as if two new coalitions were formed between odd pairings. Mark and Craig took the “nice guys” side while Nicole and Paul, somehow bonded, to form the “evil team”. At the next mission these two teams were shown to be helpful as they were playing a first individual challenge that morphed into a group challenge. Oh they were also playing for a very coveted final exemption. The objective of the mission was to be the first to finish a word puzzle. The first to do so would get to become the sniper. The remaining three would then had to maneuver through an obstacle course while avoiding being shot at by the paint balls from the sniper. For each person who got through the course without being hit would add $15,000. If the sniper hit the person holding the exemption card they would get the exemption and be safe from execution.

During the word puzzle everyone seemed to stumble but Mark quickly got it together and became the sniper and only person eligible for the exemption. Although Nicole and Craig finished the word puzzle early as well, they waited for Paul since he was the only one who ever played paintball before. This seemed to work to their advantage as he helped them move through the course. Paul and Nicole moved well together as they moved in-sync while Craig pulled his weight by moving when he had a chance. Towards the end Mark finally got the hang of the gun and ended up hitting Nicole. While Mark was celebrating Paul dashed to the finish and got through safely. Knowing he had a shot Craig also tried to run but was hit by Mark, giving them only $15,000 for the pot and Mark two chances for the exemption.

When it was revealed that Craig did hold the exemption card, Paul didn’t take it too well. He let everyone know that he wasn’t happy with someone, besides him of course, having safety in the final four and guaranteeing Mark a spot in the finals. When it came time for the quiz to be taken both Nicole and Paul finally buried the hatchet as they agreed that they played similar games. At that point I think they both realized they weren’t the Mole and that pointed them at two others players. We know that Nicole and Paul were targetting Craig for the quiz but Craig’s target was somewhat unknown. In the end Paul was executed and he said he knew he was going. Next week we have the final missions so it should be interesting. I’m still not sure if its the finale or not but if I find out I’ll let you know. Oh and if you want to know my prediction for the Mole: I think its Craig. What do you guys think? Leave a comment and discuss who you think is the Mole!
