Sorry for the lack of a Sunday night rehash but I was on vacation but it’s all back to normal now! Jumping right into things were Jessie and Michelle who were oddly calm after learning hat Jessie was going on the block. Jessie told April right away that he understood why she put him up and understood that he should be safe. Michelle was a little more annoyed though, claiming once again that the pawn always goes home. Memphis made a few comments about knowing he was going up but other then that he was his normal ‘in the shadows’ self.
After a quick stint in the diary room, Dan wasn’t too excited that America chose Jessie, of all people, to be hugged for at least 10 seconds. It wasn’t the hardest of tasks but it was sure entertaining! Dan moved quickly and created a plan to tell Jessie a sob story about his girlfriend. Um didn’t I see this somewhere before? Like maybe last summer? Dan told Jessie how he fears that Monica, his girlfriend, won’t be there when he gets out of the house. Jessie took it to heart and believed every word. In an ending move Dan hugged Jessie and didn’t let go for 17 seconds. He smirked as the clock passed the 10 second mark and it was a moment that makes America’s Player worth it, simply for Dan’s actions and remarks after he completed his task.
Later that night the houseguests were surprised with the PoV players being chosen. April, Memphis and Jessie were obviously playing along with Libra, Jerry and Michelle. April wasn’t too happy that Michelle was put in the mix and believed she was the only one who could win against them. When Libra entered the room April told her the problem and Libra didn’t like that too much. She thought that her alliance was counting her out and treating her like a weak link, since April didn’t think she could win the veto. This led another fight, about the millionth for the season, which included at least half the house on what should have been a very happy night: Keesha’s 30th birthday.
Downstairs Keesha and Libra complained, loudly I must say, about April and how she’s been treating them. Napping outside was Jessie who heard every single word, and some he only thought he heard. He immediately went upstairs to tell April what the two ladies were saying and that’s what set off the bomb. April immediately came downstairs and confronted the two. First Libra and April began to spat and yell but when Keesha tried to join the fray April brushed her off and said she would “deal with her later”. That didn’t sit well with Keesha and she went out to calm down and tell everyone else how much she hated Keesha. While that was going on Libra and April continued to argue and it finally came out that Jessie was the one who told April what they supposedly said. That’s where things got even more heated.
While everyone was in the kitchen waiting to sing Happy Birthday for Keesha; Libra, April and Jessie were arguing in the 80s bedroom. It seems to be the theme for most of the fights don’t you think? Libra and Jessie exchanged the most words with Keesha joining in for a bit. The two girls let Jessie know that what he said was all a lie and he never really did deny that he was lying. April sat in the middle of the argument and just kind of soaked things in. When everyone finally got calmed down enough to sing, Happy Birthday range out with the worst enthusiasm I ever heard! Following the song everyone sat in dead silence as they knew the fight wasn’t over. Keesha used the moment to culminate the arguement, it is her birthday don’t forget, and she had the last word as Jessie finally gave in and walked away. I must say, not since Chelsia has the house gone this insane. Good thing there were no easter eggs this time around!
Only a few hours after all the fun, or not so fun, it was time for the Power of Veto. Each round the six players would hit a hockey ball aiming at the center of a row. The person furthest from the center would be out and gain a prize. As more people went out they could either choose a previous prize that was won or keep what they just received. Memphis was out first, after almost taking Renny out with the hockey ball, and immediately won the Power of Veto. Next up was Michelle who very happily took a Hawaiian vacation, but that didn’t last too long. Jessie was out third and blamed his lost an the challenge again. Saying there really was no skill to it, seems he blames Big Brother for his losses but himself for his wins. He grabbed a Slop Special card but traded with Memphis for the PoV. With only April, Jerry and Libra left the PoV wouldn’t fall into enemy territory but the game went on.
With April going out fourth she won $10,000 that could be split however she pleased and kept it. With a perfect shot to the center, in the last round, Libra took home the winning trophy but it was Jerry who took home the Power of Veto. He asked April if she would split the money between himself, herself and Libra. She agreed so Jerry took the PoV from Jessie, giving Jessie a letter from home. In the winning trophy was the famous unitard worn by Jen and then Sheila. Libra didn’t want anything to do with it so she took the Hawaiian vacation from Michelle, setting her off more so then anything I’ve ever seen.
Following the Power of Veto competition Michelle ranting, in her very heated manner, that she won the shaft prize while everyone else got a prize. She felt Big Brother was making a fool out of her and threatened to quit. The fact that she had to wear the unitard didn’t sit well with her and she was taking it out by not showing her face in the DR. She eventually put it on but not before calling Libra a “whore”, “slut”, “skank”. Oh she also thinks Libra’s kids should be taken away since she took the vacation prize over a letter from home. She simply went crazy and claimed that’s her life story: always getting screwed.
Although Jerry won the veto many didn’t think he would use it and that’s what he did, he didn’t use the Power of Veto. This leaves both Memphis and Jessie on the block. It seems the house is split with the vote as Libra and Keesha want Jessie gone while April still wants Memphis out. It could be the end of the alliance as the two go against their HoH’s wishes but America, along with Dan, can shift the power by voting for who Dan should evict. Who do you want Dan to leave the house? Make sure to vote at CBS.com or texting your vote!
Big Brother has done it once again, pulling off three major events (plus one news breaking event) in one night! Following last episodes Power of Veto ceremony, Angie and Jessie knew that one of them were going home. Although Angie knew the cards weren’t in her favor, she still fought to stay in the game. Michelle took the news that the veto wasn’t being used the hardest as both of her friends were on the block. She cried to Angie that she would have a hard choice to make, but its obvious she’s closer to Jessie so I don’t know why she’s crying. Once again Michelle shows her Amber side.
Back outside, where she took Brian’s spot on the couch, Angie pulled some strings and created another meltdown. While talking to Jerry, Angie got Jerry to say that Memphis, Jessie and Michelle were “cocky” and controlling the house. Once Jerry left she filled in the three he mentioned and they weren’t too happy that Jerry told Angie she could still be in the game. Immediately after hearing their names were brought up, Michelle and Jessie lashed out at Jerry who fought back. It was another major fight in the house and hopefully not the last. I must say it was smart of Angie to cause the fight but in the end it didn’t seem like anything would save her.
Later that day it was all about the earthquake. As most people know, the earthquake hit LA the other day and the houseguests made the news for being involved. We finally got to see the full footage of the earthquake hitting the house and everyone reacted as expected, except for Jerry. He thought a truck hit the house…. uh no. That night more shaking happened in the house, but this time thanks to Jessie. He blew Libra a kiss and told her “bye bye” through the window and she didn’t like that too much. The next morning Jessie called Jerry “father time” which set him off once again. With Jessie being his cocky self some were trying to decide if Jessie really SHOULD go. Ollie, April and Libra agreed that if Keesha agreed it they would vote Jessie out but she never really said if she would.
When Julie first got to talk to the houseguests it was time to get things out in the open. She let us know that the banner had nothing to do with the game or Big Brother and gave Michelle a chance to reveal that. She didn’t so Julie turned to Memphis and Jerry. Memphis let us know that he thinks hurting his ego is worse then being punched in the face while Jerry apologized. Renny also got a shout out for her birthday but nothing else, not even a birthday cake!
Before the vote both Angie and Jessie were given the chance to say why they should stay. Angie made one of the best pre-vote speeches ever on the show, in my eyes, but nobody listened. Angie was evicted by 8 votes to 0 for Jessie and she became the first women evicted from the house. Outside with Julie Angie broke down and began to cry. She finally said she felt the girls were jealous of her and that’s why she was voted out and also said she has nothing romantic going with Brian.
Following Angie’s chat with Julie we FINALLY got to see who was chosen as America’s Player. Dan was selected from the vote and accepted to be the new America’s Player for a week. He said since America chose him he couldn’t say no and the money didn’t hurt either. I think Dan will do a great job being America’s Player and it will also affect his game play as it will most likely force him to choose a side. To vote for who you want to see Dan target for nomination, head over to http://CBS.com/bigbrother and vote in the America’s Player poll.
For the HoH it is endurance as rumored and a very interesting one. It puts the houseguests right back into the earthquake as they stand on a ledge of a shaking building. Of course Big Brother threw some dirt and garbage on them but other then that they are just standing on a ledge that could possibly get lower. Since it is endurance we have no clue who will won as it is still going on. To find out who does win HoH make sure to stay tuned to http://bigbrotherloop.com for the latest updates on the HoH as we will keep you up to date on the latest HoH rankings.
Before I begin I must say I’m shocked that America’s Player is returning and still wondering how it will all play out. Since that came up in the show a little later I’ll wait to discuss more but for now lets return to the recap. Following the nomination of Jessie and Angie, the two sides took opposing opinions. Michelle, Memphis and Michelle were all heated about Jessie going up while Libra, Ollie and April were ecstatic for the nominations. While Michelle realized she was somewhat doomed, Jessie took it upon himself to try and sway the HoH for his benefit once again. I’m not sure why he thinks people should always do what he tells them and I’m starting to wonder if Jessie even realizes how forceful he’s being. After telling Keesha to put Libra up and her somewhat suggesting she might, he celebrated by telling Michelle that Keesha WILL put up Libra and that he WILL win the veto. Yeah, I doubt that buddy.
When it was time to pick players for the veto Jessie continued his cocky attitude by saying that no matter who gets to play he’s smarter and stronger then all of them so he’ll win no matter what. The one person he didn’t want in the veto was Libra but of course she was, along with Keesha, Angie, Ollie and Memphis. The six veto players all had to lay in a potting bed full of ground. If that wasn’t bad enough they would have water dripped on their head for at least an hour, Chinese Water Torture style. The person who dropped out of the challenge closest to an hour without going over would win the Power of Veto and could possibly change the nominations. Not only would the water be keeping them distracted but worms and stinky composite were added to the mix as well.
During the challenge it seemed like each person took a counting strategy. While Angie and Jessie psyched each other up, Ollie and Libra talked it out who would leave. Around the 20 minute mark worms were placed on top of everyone which forced Keesha to drop out. It seemed like she had no chance of winning but the way the challenge was set up she at least had a shot. When it came time for the compost everyone knew time was almost up. Libra was the next to drop out followed quickly by Jessie. Angie, Ollie and Memphis followed a few minutes later and it was time to reveal who won. Since everyone but Keesha went past an hour, Keesha won the Power of Veto by default. Hmm sounds similar to her HoH win. This made Keesha “Queen Keesha” for the week as not only was she the HoH but now the PoV holder as well. Her having the veto made things interesting as both sides wanted her to do something different with it.
Following the veto Jessie put a plan in motion to get Libra up and gone. He first sent Angie up to talk to Keesha, little did he realize they haven’t talked the entire game. Angie tried her best though, pulling out some tears and saying she wanted either herself or Libra to go since she can’t be in the house another week with Libra. This put doubt in Keesha’s mind on Libra’s loyalty and forced her to bring up the possibility of Libra being nominated to Ollie and April. They agreed that Libra was a threat to them as she is putting a target on their alliance. Keesha’s conscience got the best of her thought as she remembered she gave Libra her word on Day 4. Knowing she couldn’t go against her word Keesha stood with her nominations and stood on her stand that Libra wouldn’t go up.
After a few hours Jessie decided to try one last time for Libra to go up. Once in the HoH room Jessie went off, freaking out a bit at Keesha that she has to do what he wants or he’s gone. He reveals that Libra wants Keesha gone and also reveals that Libra wanted Steven up. Jessie did put a good case ahead of him calling himself a prisoner who didn’t commit a crime. I don’t believe it but at least it was a good case. He didn’t like it too much when Keesha told him that she can’t put Libra up since she gave Libra her word. Apparently Jessie doesn’t care about loyalty since he still fought for Libra to go up, even after Keesha said she wouldn’t.
During the commercial break America’s Player was revealed. Since it will be happening for only one week this season we, the viewers, get to decide who will be chosen as America’s Player. To vote you can head over to CBS.com or you can text your vote to 81818. To vote text the number for the person you want to be America’s Player. (1 Angie) (2 April) (3 Dan) (4 Jerry) (5 Jessie) (6 Keesha) (7 Libra) (8 Memphis) (9 Michelle) (10 Ollie) (11 Renny). Of course, like last seasons return player, there is a loop hole. The person we choose as America’s Player will get to choose if they want to actually do it or not. If they do choose to be our litle puppet, they can win up to $20,000. If not the votes will once again be a waste and the game will go on as normal.
When the show returned Jessie, once again, went nuts and this time in front of several other players who were in the HoH room with Keesha. This forced Keesha to tell everyone that she will be keeping her word with Libra. She went throughout the house and told everyone that she will not turn on Libra, in hopes Jessie and everyone else would stop bothering her. When Keesha finished her announcement she and most everyone went to the HoH room. Outside a banner was flying over the house and like last year it created drama that affected the game. Only Memphis, Angie, Jessie and Michelle saw the banner but none of them really knew what it said. They decided to act like it said “Libra is a liar, love Steven” and went up to start the drama. After Angie broke the news Memphis followed by going off on Libra a bit. Jerry then spoke up by calling Memphis a womanizer which caused another crazy fight like never before. Once again Jerry was in the middle of it but this time Memphis got “really real” and spazzed on Jerry. Although Jerry sat there nice and calm it was another fight in the Big Brother house and probably a record amount for any season to date.
Following the banner and womanizer drama it was finally time for Keesha to reveal what she was doing with the veto. Although Jessie and his posse pressured her to use it, Keesha kept her word with Libra and decided not to use the veto. On the new eviction night on Thursday night several things will happen. Not only will Angie or Jessie be evicted but a new HoH and new America’s Player will be announced as well. It’s sure to be a good episode so make sure to tune in then tune back here for the full update!
On the last I Love Money a love triangle forced the game into more drama then its seen before. But on the latest outing the show went overboard with maneuvers and game play never seen before on a VH1 show. I’m surprised how much like Survivor and Big Brother the show is becoming and its adding a lot to it for sure. When the next morning after Heat’s removal comes, 12 Pack realizes his best friend is gone and it forces him to play the game. He decides to align with over half the other team, asking them to throw the challenge and he’ll vote out White Boy. 12 Pack knows, or thinks he knows, that he can do this since he wants to be captain for the next round. After approaching Boston, Brandi and Megan, 12 Pack’s plan gets a green light as they agree to align and agree to throw the challenge to get their teammate Whiteboy out of the house.
When the house gets the call for the challenge the captains are locked in. 12 Pack is easily chosen for the Gold Team while Chance steps up as captain for the Green Team. At a local soccer course the challenge is explained and everyone learns that Hottie’s stupidity is the basis of the challenge. On the Flavor of Love the girls were asked to cook an entire chicken for Flave’s mom. Hottie was the only one to microwave her chicken, causing a bit of a salmonella issue as it wasn’t cooked….. at all. For I Love Money that moment was fitted to a chicken capitulate mission that was split into two parts. After three teammates put together the catapult, the remaining four would have to catch five chickens using aprons. The first team to get five chickens on the dinner table would win and send one of the opposing members house.
On the Green Team the challenge throwing started early with Boston and Megan being two of the three members to build the catapult. They worked, or lack therefore, with Chance who basically put the catapult together himself. Over on the Gold Team was 12 Pack, Pumpkin and Toastee putting together the catapult. They worked well together and quickly put their slinging machine together, just as they planned it. While the Gold Team slung their chickens into the air, quickly catching three, the Green Team finally got theirs together. After quickly catching two it was obvious the plan might fail but Boston secretly screwed up a few chickens, forcing the team to go down hill from there. In the end the Gold Team just squeaked out a win. The only interesting part from the catchers was Rodeo getting slapped in the face by a flying chicken. She laughed it off with her famous cackle but since they won she didn’t seem to care too much.
Since the plan went as well…. planned most of the Green Team were happy with the loss. Only the Stallionaires were a bit angry and WhiteBoy seemed to realize the challenge was thrown. Chance and Whiteboy then went to intimidate Boston, hoping he would reveal their plan but he played sick, once again, and they left him alone after a few pranks. Once the two guys left him alone, Boston decided to celebrate with Brandi who just happened to be showering at the time. She didn’t like Boston joining her and it ended with a scream from Brandi and a laugh from Megan who was standing just outside.
While Brandi and Boston spent some not so fun time in the shower, Whiteboy took the time to talk to to Megan and wanted to see if the team threw the challenge. She says that she didn’t throw it but Whiteboy sees through her. He knows he’s on the chopping block and tried to make Megan realize that they had to keep the strong. That little chat seemed to flop Brandi’s thoughts as she agreed with him and agreed to Boston, Brandi and Destiney going up on the chopping block. The two then created a new alliance but if Brandi pulled through Whiteboy would have to do the same for her next time. Not sure exactly how that would happen since if Brandi doesn’t go into the Box next time then Whiteboy will have to put a stallionare in there. I really don’t see that happening.
The next morning Megan warns Brandi but basically told her to put herself in the box. She didn’t say much and just agreed to it but Boston didn’t. When Brandi told Boston that he may go in he didn’t take it to easily and wondered why she was going against the plan. When it was time to go into the vault, everyone voted for Boston/Brandi/Destiney to be up for elimination. Although Destiney and Brandi took the news easily, Boston didn’t. He grabbed his check in hopes of running the 15 minute time limit out and he almost pulled through with it. Following that little spat from Boston, Brandi easily put her check in while Destiney wouldn’t do it. Whiteboy grabbed at Boston, forcing the host to come in to stop any type of fight. After Destiney puts hers in more drama goes down as Boston still won’t put his in. With only 54 seconds left the check goes in the box and all hell breaks loose. Boston freaks on everyone, screaming at both Megan and Brandi. It wasn’t pretty and is hands down one of the biggest freak outs of any VH1 show.
Following the reveal of the three nominees to the Green Team Boston wanted to leave but its 12 Pack and the power outing that makes him stay. After crying for a few minutes he gave in and went to lunch. All 12 Pack wanted to do was find out who turned on who and he jumped right into things. While the girls were giving their side of the story Boston moved away from the table but he had a reason to. Brandi revealed she was the one who turned by voting for Boston and t seems pretty clear she’ll be going home. When he could choose one person to spend time with 12 Pack chose Boston. The two are friends and he trust Boston but his actions seem kind of strange to him. One thing came from the chat and that was Boston didn’t vote for WhiteBoy, which could have possibly saved him as Destiney also had three.
Back at the house 12 Pack called a team meeting to see who his team wanted to be kicked out. Although he wanted a team vote, 12 Pack revealed that he gave Destiney his word to keep her in. Pumpkin and Toastee didn’t agree with that as he wanted a team vote yet wouldn’t vote out Destiney if they wanted to. They claim that he wanted to vote out the biggest competitor out of the three and his mind flips when he realizes that. Pumpkin realizes that 12 Pack wants to keep Destiney as she’s “dating” Entertainer and flips out in her normal way. After slamming the door about 20 times Pumpkin pulls out another famous quote which I won’t mention here in hopes of keeping this as PG as possible.
At the elimination it was time for 12 Pack to choose either Brandi, Boston or Destiney to bounce. When allowed to give a few words before 12 Pack chose, Brandi opened up about throwing the challenge. Boston didn’t reveal at first that he threw the challenge but after Brandi told everyone about the plan Boston opened up to say that Megan was involved as well. The two kiddies, Brandi and Boston, continued to fight calling each other names which kind of caused 12 Pack to give Destiney her check first. With that there were two left to go: Brandi and Boston. In the end 12 Pack chose to save Brandi, forcing Boston’s check to bounce. Although the two were friends it is a game and Boston was forced to leave the mansion and the game.
On the last Big Brother 10 Steven was evicted with best friend Keesha getting the HoH. I was right in my prediction that Keesha was seek revenge for Steven’s leave and oh did she ever. As we witnessed a recap of Steven walking out the door several houseguests gave their opinion of the eviction. Libra and Jessie both showed signs of happiness as their plan played out to the tee. On the other side of the fence were Angie and more notably Keesha. Both shared remorse for evicting a friend, that’s about all they have in common. The one interesting comment was made by Dan who continued his “weak player” scheme. I wasn’t happy to see Steven go but realized how well his strategy played out that he didn’t even receive a single vote.
Another recap was in store and this time it was for Keesha’s HoH win. Libra and April both jumped for joy when they realized “their girl” was in power. It’s obvious they get closer to Keesha when she can put them on the block, even though last week they secretly doubted her. Jessie and Renny were also happy for Keesha’s win but for different reasons. Jessie felt he could sway Keesha in any way he wanted while Renny was genuinely happy for her as they seemed to have formed a mother/daughter bond. The bond was so close, and became closer, after Keesha saw her HoH bedroom. Renny was the only one allowed to stay to read Keesha’s letter and the two shared a touching moment.
Sadly that moment didn’t last long as April, Libra and Ollie pounced on Keesha the first chance they got. They wanted to assure that Keesha was still part of the foursome and I think Keesha realized why they were being so nice. Although she may not fully trust them, Keesha realized she needed those four. When she told them she wouldn’t do what the house wanted they seemed to be ok with it. Keesha seemed to take the power to her head at times be saying how she held all the decisions in the house. Of course she does but making it that obvious is kind of risky in my opinion. One of the more interesting moves she made though was talking to Dan and letting him know he was safe. They didn’t really talk much before Keesha got HoH but as of now it seems they could have some sort of side deal going on.
In a move similar to Jessie last week, Keesha got cocky and decided to tell Memphis that Angie, his best friend, is going up. I was shocked she did this while Libra and April were in the room but it was her move to make. Memphis, being the good puppet he is, went and told Michelle, Jessie and Angie what Keesha’s plan was. They immediately realized that the plan to oust Dan, Renny or Jerry was out the door and made a plan to get Libra up instead. Although none of the four acted on it right away the time was about to come.
Before the food competition we were shown a few clips of Michelle being her Portuguese self. She proclaimed her love for pig everything and even told us a story about how a guy danced around with a dead pig. Little did she know she would inspire a food luxury for the next challenge which was 50s themed. In the backyard the group finally competed for a slop-free week. With the girls and guys split behind a wall, they were paired up to match socks of all things. Each round one guy and one “doll” would go onto a rotating record which housed a basket of socks. Each round the teams had to scream across the wall in hope of matching a sock with their partner. After matching they would hang the pair of socks on a number which corresponded to a random food item for the week. In the end Renny was the coo-koo of the competition, go figure, and was the only one to miss a pair with her partner Dan. The only interesting food they got for the week was pigs feet, which only Michelle celebrated for.
Following the food competition Ollie and April’s showmance was showed in a VERY PG version. They didn’t show any of the *cough* but did show them talking about love and how it correlates to road signs. While the two love birds got closer, Jessie took it upon himself to try and get his nominations for the week into the mind of Keesha. He knew Angie was going up, which Keesha told him straight out, but didn’t want that to happen. He had a very good reason too and that was getting Libra out. One thing of interest is Jessie’s new attempt for Libra going. Last week when he had the chance to do so he was too scared to make that move yet now he wants Keesha to do it for him. I’m not sure WHY she could put Libra up, knowing how close they are, so Jessie’s plan backfired right into his face.
At the nomination ceremony Keesha made it very clear that her nominations were personal. After having Michelle’s key pulled last, it was revealed that Jessie and Angie were nominated for eviction. Keesha said that Angie caused the fight a few weeks back between Keesha and April and didn’t give Steven any backup when he was on the block. Her reason for Jessie going was two things: 1) He put Steven up and he went and 2) She sees him as a threat. Overall Keesha had good reasons to put both Angie and Jessie up, even if they don’t see it that way. With that said and down, Tuesday’s episode should showcase two huge fights in the house along with the Power of Veto winner. Plus the eviction episodes now move to Thursday nights at 8pm where they belong! So stay tuned for that and more.
Big Brother is known for its sudden change in power and tonight is no different. Following the Power of Veto ceremony both Steven and Dan realized that one of them would surely be going home. Both took a different approach to stay with Dan staying quiet and Steven pushing people to vote in his corner. Steven made the first move by asking one side of the house to keep him in the game. That side just happened to be the one aligned with Keesha and it almost seemed like they were swinging is way and could vote for Steven to stay. Dan, on the other hand, stood with Jessie and Michelle and told both of them to let him know if he should start campaigning.
It was obvious that the house was now divided into three sections. The first is Libra, April, Ollie and Keesha hanging on by a thread. They are act like they are tight but there are cracks that have formed as the three girls can’t stand each other. The other side is more solidified being Angie, Michelle, Memphis and Jessie. While outside Angie let Memphis know she can’t stand Libra and April and it’s obvious there is about to be a battle between the two groups. Last by not least are the floaters who really have no loyalty to anyone at the moment. Renny, Jerry and Dan as of now have no set alliance and could really be the swing vote for the rest of the game. Winning HoH for one of them would surely pull them to a side and I await that to happen.
When it came time for Julie to pop up she had a few interesting questions for the houseguests. I’m really liking the live shows this year as Julie is doing a great job and this time around the live audience added much more to the show. After bringing up the Jerry/Libra fight, Julie turned to Ollie and April who were visibly nervous about talking about their “romance”. If you’ve been following the feeds you would know they’ve gotten very “close” and I think the producers wanted some chatter on that. But to their dismay neither April or Ollie revealed their actions to the house or the world but they did hint at least!
The first family package was then shown as the Renny and Jessie fight was brought up again. Both of their families were asked about not only their loved ones but how they saw their enemy as well. Renny’s family were very happy for their mom and also very against Jessie. Renny’s son continuously called Jessie a weasel but Jessie’s mother disagreed. She felt her son was great on the show and much more then a body, like he always says. It was interesting to see how the families took sides and for once stuck with their loved ones in the house. In previous seasons we’ve seen family members turn against their loved ones but this year it is a nice change of pace!
After a quick chat with Jessie it was time for Dan and Steven to give their possible final words. Dan was rather quick and basically said Sharon’s famous words, that if it was his time to go it was his time to go. Steven took a completely different route though, like he’s promised all week, and pulled a more humorous “Chelsia”. He quoted some fun sayings from the house and basically told everyone to “suck it” but in a more funny way. It was good to see the houseguests have fun on eviction night rather then blast out of the house in anger like some have in the past. When all the votes were cast it was unanimous for Steven to leave the house with a 9 to 0 vote. Not even his good friend Keesha could throw him a pity vote and he was out the door.
For the HoH competition the houseguests were treated to some scare tactics as aliens appeared several times behind the mirrors. April, Renny and Jessie saw the crazy ET like creatures and seemed more in shock then scared. Of course it was just a rubber alien with a green light shining on it but still rather humorous. The HoH wasn’t based on the alien sightings though but rather what they “abducted”. Several things were removed from the house and it was the houseguests job to remember which room and which items were removed.
To begin the challenge were Dan and April who were chosen as random. Dan buzzed in first and with a correct guess knocked April out of the HoH and chose Libra and Renny to compete next. With a wrong answer Renny took herself out and allowed Libra to choose Memphis and Angie to compete for the third question. After getting the answer right Memphis knocked out Angie and chose Keesha and Michelle to compete. Michelle took herself out and Keesha chose Libra and Dan. Libra made it through again taking out Dan, giving Keesha and Memphis a shot at the next question. Getting her first question right, Keesha took Memphis out of the game and forced Ollie and Libra to compete. Libra continued her streak and took out Ollie, pitting the final challenge for the HoH between herself and Keesha. After getting her last question wrong, Libra handed over the HoH to Keesha. This should be a VERY interesting week since Keesha is on the fence with her current alliance. Will she turn on the girls and Ollie or will she do their dirty work? Stay tuned to find out!
