Big Brother 9: What Could the New ‘Chapter’ Bring?

Big Brother 9, CBS No Comments

On the latest LIVE edition of Big Brother, Julie promised two things. One that a “new chapter would open for this season of Big Brother” and two that the evicted couple will be in for a surprise that nobody is expecting. Since there is surely going to be some sort of twist, I’m going to compile a little list of ideas I’ve seen floating around on what may actually happen:

- The ‘new chapter’ points to two things. The first is that the pairs will split and it will become a fully individual game, a normal season of Big Brother. I tend to hope this is the case since the coupling has gotten rid of several people who shouldn’t have gone. It puts someone in jeopardy to leave who shouldn’t leave, simply because people hate their partner. Plus I don’t think though HGs are expecting it and removing the couples from their safe zone could potentially put the house in drama overload, which is good for us.

- The second idea to the new chapter could be that the pairs are staying but are getting re-arranged. It’s obvious that not all the pairings like their ’soul mate’ and Big Brother may offer them a chance to regroup and create new pairs. This idea just adds on to the annoyance that the pairs have become. Of course they would probably have to force everyone to switch as some wouldn’t, so it would be fun to watch at first, but overall it wouldn’t be that great for the long run.

- Now we go onto the “surprise” that the evicted couple will get. My hunch is that someone or multiple people are going back into the house. Everyone knows that all the prior evicted houseguests have been sequestered which is only normal if they are planning on bringing someone back. It could go down in multiple ways but here are two.

- The first idea has the evicted couple sending one of them back into the game. Either they will decide, America will decide or the house will decide. If everything goes to plan this week Allison and Ryan will be evicted. If this twist does occur, I’m guessing Ryan would go back into the game, unless Allison gets another power trip and has the choice to decide for the both of them.

- The other idea is that anyone who has been evicted so far could return, not just the couple evicted on that night. This could potentially bring back “America’s Vote” similar to season 6 where we voted Kaysar back in. I assume that we would be bringing more then one back into the game, since there is at least 7 to choose from and if this happens I really hope Amanda and/or Alex get a second shot!

That’s all the speculation so far and it could go either very well or very bad on Wednesday night. I don’t think the houseguests will handle any change well since they’ve complained about almost everything this season. Let’s hope it brightens up the game, causes drama and picks up those ratings that Big Brother needs so badly!

Big Brother Drops Two More and Hints At Couple Split

Big Brother 9, CBS No Comments

Tonight’s second live episode picked right up where last episode left off with Amanda and Allison the morning after their sudden rush to the hospital. Both seemed much better and both were ready to do some game play. The votes seemed up in the air for some time going back and forth from Amanda/Alex to Matt/Natalie. Allison was the first to create some drama as she realized that both Matt and Natalie were the strongest couple in the game. She quickly went to her alliance and operation Condor seemed a bust, for things quickly changed.

Matt knew that Natalie was closer to the voters then himself and she quickly went to work on Sharon and Joshuah. They both seemed kind of on the fence on the vote as Natalie had to tell them multiple times that they would be safe if they voted to keep them in the game. Matt also started work on Adam in hopes to keep Sheila, who was getting closer to Alex and Amanda, on his side. Alex decided not to campaign against Matt and little was shown about Amanda’s game play other than her slight bud of a friendship since her emergency with Allison.

In the seasons first family moment, friends of Chelsia and James chimed in on why they were fit for each other. James’ friends said he knew James was a good guy and was amazed at him when he met him. He also confirmed James uses ‘Crazy James’ outside the house, how nice. Chelsia’s friends also said they felt her and James were meant for each other and let us know that Chelsia is exactly the same outside the house and game.

It then came time for the first LIVE vote and we were told that if one or more couples didn’t agree on the vote, the first couple to disagree would be evicted over the four nominees. Once the first two couples voted we knew that Amanda and Alex would be leaving but Allison and Ryan put the nail in the coffin sending them home with a 3 - 0 vote over Natalie and Matt. Both Amanda and Alex took blame for their eviction and both were visibly upset. They will be missed in the game but here’s hoping they can return in a “shocking” twist!

The HoH was rather intense as it was two parts. The girls first battled each other answering quotes around the house. They had to say which author said the quote. Sharon chimed in for each of the rounds for the girls and took out first Allison, then Sheila and finally Natalie. For the guys, Ryan was out first with a wrong answer. Joshuah was next to be correct and took out Matt. After answering the last question correctly, Joshuah clinched the game and made it that both him and Sharon won without going to a third round.

Before the night was over, Julie revealed that next weeks couple will have a surprise waiting for them once they leave, possibly one of them will be able to return to the game? She then said that a new ‘chapter’ will open in the Big Brother house next week which means we may finally see the split of the couples.

Two New Videos - Big Brother and Survivor Reactions

Big Brother 9, Survivor, Video No Comments

A few people have been asking me to do some new video reviews so not only have I done one but I’ve done two!

The first one below is my overall feelings on Survivor Micronesia so far. I talk about who I like, the “love square alliance”, and how crazy Kathy is.

The second one is about the events that just took place in the Big Brother house involving the slop diet. It’s kind of spoilerish but not too bad, so don’t complain because I’ve warned you!

If you have any ideas that you like me to make videos of then send them to me at realityrehash@gmail.com. If you want to make a review as well or any time of video I’d be glad to post it on the website as well!

BB9 - Slop Causes Seizures and Allergies to React

Big Brother 9, CBS No Comments

If you don’t want spoilers to Big Brother 9 then don’t read below!!!!!

Last night the Big Brother houseguests were finally on slop and oh what a night it caused. It all started with Amanda, who wasn’t feeling good after feeling like her sugar was low. She then fell to the ground and passed out for a short time and then began to have convulsions. She was taken to the Diary Room and apparently went to the Hospital. She then returned to the house and seems fine now.

Another player, Allison, is also feeling sick from the slop diet. She was having some kind of allergic reaction to it and was having a severe allergy attack. The BB nurse gave her a epi-pen treatment and she now seems ok but may leave for a short bit to be checked by the doctor.

Because of these two major events, the slop diet has been lifted and will probably never return. To see the drama unfold watch below:

Big Brother 9 - Not One, Not Two, but THREE Twists!

Big Brother 9, CBS No Comments

The night began like any other season with the introduction of the 16 new houseguests. All were excited to receive their key and none expected what they were going to be putting themselves through.he seven girls were the first to enter the house and suddenly realized that the doors to the bedrooms were locked. All of them knew something was up and read the love quotes scattered throughout the house.

Before the guys could enter Julie had a few things to tell us. Not all of the houseguests would be strangers as Jacob and Sharon were exs while Ryan and Jen are currently dating. Could this be where the “dirty little secrets” come into play?

When the guys came in everyone suddenly found out they were a group of singles and realized even more so then before that something was up. Julie then came in to break the news and announced the pairings. Amanda and Alex were first paired up and were very happy with that selection. Next up were James and Chelsia who, at first seemed to like each other, seemed somewhat neutral about their partners. The third pairings where Natalie and Matt which made sense after their interviews about each other were aired. Although Jen and Ryan are currently dating, they were not found to be each others soul mates as Jen and Parker were the next pair announced. Josh and Neil were next up and then we got to Jacob and Sharon. Jacob seemed happy to get the second chance with his ex while Sharon wanted nothing to do with him. The last pairs were selected as Allison and Ryan, and Sheila and Adam.

After it was revealed she was paired with Adam, Sheila became very upset. She told Adam that he was not her type and became the first person to cry in the Diary Room. Adam was upset, and embarrassed that Sheila was acting like this and both were very upset at their partner.

As the partners go to know each other, Julie revealed a third unknown twist to the houseguests. The first challenge would not be for Head of Household but rather for the new “Power Couple”. The pair to win would be the sole vote in evicting one pair from the house, and had to do so in a few hours after the challenge ended.

During the Power Couple challenge, the pairs were suspended above a bed. One person was harnessed and suspended while the other had to hold on to the person in the air. Some of the pairs dropped quickly and when half were gone the remaining were told that if they could get a pillow from the bed below and won the challenge, they would win $10,000 as well. It came down to Matt/Natalie and Jen/Parker. Jen and Parker had the pillow while Matt and Natalie didn’t. This lead Jen and Parker to ultimately win the Power Couple challenge and will evict one pair from the house. This pair will be revealed on tomorrows episode but will probably be known tonight when the feeds air live.

Now that twist had affected the game dramatically and I’m not too sure how much drama the house can hold. After the feeds popped on much drama ensued as we quickly learned who was evicted the other night, who won the HoH, that the house is split in two and more drama of fighting couples all revolving around Jen and Ryan. For more up to date BB news check out livewirebb.com as I update there as well.

Plus make sure to get your live feeds as there is already drama on the first night!
