Dan Wins The $500,000 On Big Brother 10

7:32 pm Reality

After 71 days of fun, drama, fights and twists, Big Brother 10 is now officially over with Dan claiming all 7 jury votes to win one of the best Big Brother seasons yet. The night started off with a well rounded recap of the entire summer. With Brian and his friends leaving first things looked bleak for Dan and Memphis, his two remaining friends, but when their alliance was born it ruled the entire game. Dan and Memphis worked everyone until the very end and that’s why that sat in the finals. Both played off of each other, keeping each other safe yet still playing for themselves. It all came down to the seven votes and the seven people they helped evict.

At the jury house everyone had an opinion on who they wanted to see. Libra wanted Jerry out but Renny didn’t even want to think of looking at him. Keesha wanted Memphis in the jury, for obvious reasons, while was very adamant about wanting Dan out. When Jerry walked through the door everyone was talking about him. Well rather bashing him. He didn’t catch the discussion though but most gave him a cold shoulder as they weren’t too thrilled he was back in their lives. All the girls on the jury had a very strong opinion on who should win. April battled for Memphis to win the money, simply because she hated that Dan got not only her but her boyfriend Ollie out as well. Keesha, Libra and Renny stuck to their guns for Dan and continually bashed Memphis. Renny said that Memphis didn’t play the game and she was in no way going to give him her vote. April basically said the same for Dan and continued on with her delusional self. Jerry seemed still upset with Dan but didn’t really give much of a reason. Michelle stayed rather quiet, other then telling Jerry about her trip with Dan. Ollie of course said hardly anything.

With their individual rants over it was time for the Renegades to face the jury. Neither really said anything negative about the other….. until the very end. Libra was up first and asked Dan the biggest move he made in the game. He said it was back dooring Michele, something Michelle agreed with. April was up next and asked Memphis why she should vote for him even though they hardly talked in the house. He went on saying they were really never on the same side and didn’t want to BS her, so that’s why he didn’t talk to her. Michelle’s turn was up and she played a game of “jury house roulette”. In her question she let Memphis know that Dan took her on the trip. Memphis was a bit surprised but the question was to Dan. He let Michelle know that he took her on the trip to basically get her vote and continued saying that he didn’t solely backdoor him but rather it was an alliance choice. When Michelle talked to Memphis she also revealed that her and Memphis were in alliance. Dan looked shocked and was one of the better moments of the jury talk. Memphis then let the jury know that he did threw a few of the HoHs and wasn’t really on board with the “vote out Michelle” until he was swayed that way.

Ollie’s voice was then heard, for one of the first times, and once again brought up his deal with Dan. The one he broke. Dan let Ollie know that he had to do anything to get Ollie to drop. Since Dan was about to fall he couldn’t let Ollie win and that’s why he threw out the deal and Monica’s name. Renny’s question was then thrown into the mix and showed that Memphis didn’t really do much for her. She wanted to know what Memphis did for her during the game and he basically said ‘nothing’. Keesha’s question was up next and wanted to ask Memphis why he evicted her over Jerry. He let her know the truth, saying that he had to do it to get to the end. Jerry was last up and asked Dan about being arrogant. Dan let Jerry know that he really did have respect for everyone in the game. His actions during competitions were out of emotion and were the one time he left his emotions out. Jerry’s question to Memphis was about who Memphis would choose between Jerry and Dan in the end. Memphis wouldn’t say since he didn’t think about it unless it happened. Dan then left Jerry know that maybe Memphis threw the last HoH so he didn’t have to pull the trigger and vote Jerry out. It probably swayed Jerry’s vote and was a brilliant move on Dan’s part.

With the jury questions over it was time for them to vote. With their speeches each gave a rather general reason on who they were voting. Renny took the most time, as usual, but gave a great speech. She let the guys and the world know that the little things matter. Even on the last episode Renny is making a big statement! The way the jury votes were placed it almost seemed like Memphis would win. With Jerry ended the run it seemed like he could be the deciding vote but was that the case? After all the final votes were cast it was time to bring the first four evicted back into the mix. Brian was able to talk first and let the jury members know that we saw EVERYTHING. He first targeted Ollie and his temper tantrum after Michelle went on the block. Ollie laughed it off but Michelle wasn’t about to. Brian then talked about Michelle’s reaction about losing Hawaii and attacking Libra about being a bad mother. Michelle laughed that off as well but when Brian brought up April and Michelle comments in the jury house, about Keesha, the two girls looked rather puzzled. Maybe they don’t remember that but they sure will soon! Steven was up next and he layed into Jerry. He let everyone know that Jerry wasn’t as nice as he seemed and we were then showed a few angry Jerry clips. Jerry didn’t seem to upset about it and continued his normal “Dan used his Bible” comment as before. Last up was Jessie who let everyone know that Dan was a one week America’s player. Michelle and Libra both freaked out when they learned about Dan’s America Player and Jessie continued his arrogant ways. Be “thanking” America for voting him out and thinking about him, Jessie put his place in the “Most Hated” book of Big Brother.

Now that all the “secrets” were out it was time to reveal who won the $500,000. Both Dan and Memphis deserved it but with all seven votes DAN was named the winner. It’s interesting to see that people like April, Ollie, Jerry and Michelle voted for Dan and hopefully we will know their reasoning. It almost seemed as if Memphis could have had it the way the jury was talking but Dan was the ultimate player this season and deserves the win. With the $500,000 rewarded Julie then revealed the $25,000 jury prize. With Jerry getting second it was really up for grabs and KEESHA took home the money. Many felt she deserved the 3rd place prize and I think America just handed it to her!

With that said and done Big Brother 10 is now over. It’s been a fun ride this season to recap and rehash all the craziness but stay right here at RealityRehash.com for all the best recaps in the world of reality. Thanks for a fun summer and see you for Big Brother 11!
