Big Brother is down to its final three and although many don’t perticularly like at least two remaining housguests it has been a pretty good summer. The live show opened up following the nomination ceremony where Kevin and Natalie had a “fake fight” to try and dupe Michele and Jordan. The two girls seemed to buy the idea that Kevin/Natalie weren’t a pair but the two were still working together. I’m not sure what the point of faking a fight was but oh well. The shift then came to Kevin working Michele and Natalie working Jordan. The two didn’t know that was the case but they each had a backup plan just in case the Power of Veto didn’t pan out the way they wanted. Kevin winning that is.

The night before the PoV Michele and Jordan talked and realized that Natalie and Kevin were playing them. Jordan didn’t understand why Natalie would push for Michele to go when she wanted Kevin out and luckily figured things out on her own. In the opposite bedroom Natalie and Kevin talked. Kevin wasn’t too happy that Natalie put all the pressure on him to win the veto but she was right, all four of them would have opened Pandora’s Box in that situation.

Val Spins An Evil Evil Web For Final Three On Solitary 3.0

Last time on Solitary 3.0 the final three were decided after Pod 8 dropped off the glass and out of the competition. The two remaining guys were still against the glass and had no clue they were safe but things were about to get interesting. Val made them stand on one foot as their face pressed against the surface. Both were in obvious pain from such a simple task but were fighting since they wanted to be in the final three. Whoops they already were. Over in Pod 3 she was safe from the glass but got some anyway. Well a glass full of whip cream at least. Back at the glass lickers Pod 4 put his foot down, forcing him to push the red button and taking him out of the treatment. He was glad to be in the final three but Pod 7 still remained. Val wanted to push him further though and had Pod 7 lick letters on the screen with his tongue. It spelled out final three, giving him the news and making Pods 3, 4 and 7 the official final three of Solitary 3.0.

For the “next level” Val took the most annoying game and multiplied it by a thousand: JENGA. The guests had to stack the tallest jenga tower using only one hand. Knocking the tower over would mean an hour of sirens, which is never a good thing. The person with the tallest tower won and gave them a “culinary treat”. All started off fairly well and it came down the final five minutes before someone knocked their tower over. Pod 3’s tower was the first to fall, giving her the sirens without any food. Pod 4’s also took a tumble, giving him sirens and Pod 7 the default win. He got a huge sandwich which he was excited for but the other two weren’t so lucky. The sirens lasted for a full hour, annoying their minds and leaving them tired. Good thing they’ll be getting plenty of rest in the next task!

Hidden Idol Causes A Laugh On Latest Survivor Gabon

On last weeks Survivor, Charlie was kicked out of the game thanks to Nobag’s weakest members. Tonight those who were friends with Charlie weren’t too happy as Randy and Corinne silently freaked out, well for the night following Tribal Council at least. The following day it was all about the hidden idols. Yes I put an s on that, although there really aren’t two. Bob found it smart, for some reason, to tell Sugar, and only Sugar, that he made a fake Immunity Idol. She played it off well as she didn’t let on that she has the real one. In the end Sugar just became even more powerful as she has the real idol and knows that there is another one now floating around. Who would have though she’d become the most powerful person in the game? I sure didn’t! With the idols now out in the air it was time for the next reward. While getting the tree mail both Corinne and Randy talked about how much they hated everyone remaining. They feel they are the only two now aligned from old Kota and realized that Matty had to switch over.

This tie with Matty played a role in the next reward challenge which brought back the Survivor Auction. Each of the players were given $500 and given the chance to bid on several items. First up were three cold beers and it was a bidding war between Randy and Sugar. She kept bidding to get Randy’s bid higher and higher and it worked. After getting the beer, Randy was left with only $320. The next item up was the dreaded covered item and Kenny took it home. It was a note to send someone to Exile Island and gain their money. Kenny didn’t waste any time and sent Bob to exile once again, knowing there is no idol and knowing Bob thinks there is. Sugar, who had been very vocal, got the next item of chocolate and peanut butter while Susie won a bubble bathe. Corinne won the only other individual reward in an advantage in the next immunity challenge. Kenny could have outbid her but in the end he didn’t need it. The last item was for the tribe and Randy won cookies for everyone. Although it was a nice gesture he turned into an idiot. He wanted to “own all the cookies” and designated who got the most. He gave Corinne and Matty one and half each while everyone received one. In the end only one cookie remained and, since she didn’t take one at first, Sugar took the last cookie and gave it to Matty. Randy wasn’t to happy about that move and made everyone know when returning to camp.

The Teams Visit Cambodia On The Amazing Race 13

The Amazing Race 13 visited an amazingly scenic country this week in Cambodia where towns float and temples spire over the land. As the teams left New Zealand there were some issues at the airport. Tina and Ken were first out thanks to their fast forward from last week and arrived at the airport first. Although they knew Terence and Sarah were behind they feared they may just catch up. Of course the two did just that even though there were some issues along the way. Terrence got pulled over for speeding on the highway which put them a bit behind but luckily they were able to catch the same flight.

Terence and Sarah weren’t the only ones to equalize the game at the airport. Toni/Dallas and Christy/Kelly ended up at the airport at the same time and had a bit of a confrontation. Kelly and Christy were making fun of Dallas, calling his Teen Wolf which didn’t sit well with Dallas. I don’t think he heard them but realized they were talking about him, luckily he let it slide. With those two teams plus Nick and Starr on the same flight that left Dan/Andrew and Aja/Ty still flight-less. Dan and Andrew landed at the airports just in time to make the flight but only after much coaxing. The travel agent told them they couldn’t get on but going to the front desk helped the guys out at the left Aja and Ty alone in New Zealand.

Renny Replaced With Sumo Wrestler On Big Brother 10

Posted by REALITY REHASH on September 4, 2008 under Big Brother 10, CBS

Big Brother 10 has been a strange season but nothing as strange as the latest. After Renny was evicted and the Head of Household played, a sumo wrestler entered the house with really no clue as to why he’s there. Following the Power of Veto ceremony where Renny went on the block against Keesha, things were rather odd in the house. Renny wasn’t as upset as you would think but more upset that she was up against her friend Keesha. Keesha felt the same, being up against Renny, as they’ve become very close in the house and lifelong friends.

The three guys had thoughts about the events as well. Jerry once again felt alone in the house since Memphis turned on him while the Renegades were ecstatic. Both Dan and Memphis secured their alliance would be until the final two and it made them obvious as well. Jerry took the ball and ran with it by talking to Keesha and telling her that Memphis has a final two with everyone. With the idea in Keesha’s head she got a bit paranoid and it was time for Jerry to try Dan. By telling Dan that he is now on par with everyone else, Jerry gave Dan the same deal he gave Keesha. Going to the final three as Memphis is aligned with everyone but Dan doesn’t buy it. Alone in the storage room, Keesha and Dan let each other in on what Jerry was doing. Memphis joined them and it made the two guys realize that Keesha may sway on them if they aren’t careful. It also showed that Dan and Memphis weren’t as close to the finals as they thought.

Following the paranoia from Jerry it was all about the girls. Renny and Keesha have been friends since the start of the game and have formed one of the closest bonds in Big Brother history. With one of them sure to go it was sad to see the two in their last days. They expressed their joy of finding a friend in the game and I think both will remain close for years following this season. Outside the house it was time for the interview from home, Memphis took his turn this time around. The interview was with his girlfriend who said why she loved him so much and how Memphis isn’t a womanizer. We had a few clips of Memphis telling why he went off on Jerry so long ago and it was interesting to see how people see him outside the game.

With four jury members now in the house it was finally time to see what they have been up to. Mostly nothing has really changed. Libra was alone for an entire week and called the eviction order every time. When April walked in Libra was happy as she was the one she wanted to see out but April wasn’t upset. She feels being a jury member is more important and took the time to bash Keesha EVERY chance she got. After saying how badly she wanted to see Keesha walk through the door so she could sleep in the yard, Michelle walked in and the Keesha bashing continued. As they watched the endurance competition, April and Michelle commented on Keesha’s supposed weight gain. They were very petty and when April gets out of the house she will surely learn that America thinks of her what she thinks of Keesha. With Ollie in the door April jumped for joy, claiming she was happy to see him so they could be together. The jury segment was mostly focused on April’s opinions of the remaining players and a sad opinion at that.

When it came time to vote it seemed like Renny knew she was going. She took a solid five minutes to “plead her case” but rather took it as a time to give a Dan style speech. Not only did she tell the housegeusts a story of how to play the remainder of the game, Renny also mentioned having grief none of them knew about. Sadly we will never know what she was talking about as both Dan and Memphis voted Renny out over Keesha. Outside Julie only got to ask Renny one question due to time but Renny ran with it. She enjoyed interacting with the crowd and is the only player to do so, so far. It was nice to see Renny at her finest, it’s just sad that we will no longer be seeing it in the game.

With Renny gone it was all about the Head of Household competition. Earlier today the players got to view several photos of past competitions. All the questions came from these photos in a form of true or false statements. In the end it was down to Dan and Memphis with Dan winning by a point. By getting the last correct Dan claimed his second HoH win and guaranteed a spot in the final three. Since the Power of Veto means everything in the final four, Dan’s HoH really doesn’t mean much other then immunity. Something that does mean much though is the luxury competition now underway. As the houseguests walked into the living room after the HoH, they saw a sumo wrestler sitting on a small stool. As the wrestler uttered words in Japanese, Julie filled us in that a luxury competition was now underway that could put a twist on the remainder of the game. How will the luxury competition play out? For spoilers head on over to BigBrotherLoop.com for the inside scoop on the sumo and the luxury competition!

The Mole Executes Its First Victim In Four Years

Posted by REALITY REHASH on June 2, 2008 under ABC, The Mole
Read the First Comment

After four years the Mole has once again returned and the conspiracy theories along with it! The fun thing about the Mole is trying to figure it out as you go along and tonight made things tough. It all began when the new host Jon Kelley introduced the cast. He’s not as good as Anderson and seems somewhat scripted but I’m sure he’ll get better. I was glad to see the cast is very diverse with a mixture of ages, locations and professions. When everyone was allowed to then talk they were quickly surprised with a mission. Everyone was given a card and told to circle who they thought was the mole. Marcie was selected and was given power for the night.

It was interesting to see how Marcie handled the mission as she had to select who would jump over a waterfall for money and who would jump for simply paper. They never really said why she chose who she did but it did make her suspicious. Some of the jumps were interesting to watch like Liz who is the 60 old lady. She showed most of the guys up by grabbing a bag while Paul showed his personality early by claiming it the worst moment of his life when the 60 lady grabbed a bag and he didn’t. The most shocking jump came from Craig who is a very “large” player if you know what I mean. As he went to jump for the bag he basically jumped down the waterfall, giving himself one heck of a leap as the safety harness grabbed him and as he said “choked him”. He didn’t get a bag but was still greeted with applause.

Marcie was then allowed to rejoin the group when it was all said and done. Only six out of the 11 bags were won and only two of them contained real money, meaning the pot starts off at $20,000. Most found her choices suspicious as she gave the “short people” the most shot at winning the money. I was somewhat shocked as well that she didn’t choose Kristen, who seemed capable, who actually did get the money yet was jumping for nothing. Marcie’s duties weren’t over as she now had to choose four people to sleep outside and the rest to sleep in a cabin. She chose Liz, Bobby, Craig and Nicole to camp out and it caused some very unneeded drama.

Learning she had to sleep outside, Nicole threw a hissy fit and actually found a way around the rules. She was told she had to “sleep outside” but was never told that she couldn’t stay inside if she didn’t sleep. So she sat in the cabin all night but well stayed up the entire time. It makes you wonder if she is the mole but I don’t think she realized it made her suspicious. The next morning the first coalition was made. Paul pulled Marcie aside and they agreed to work together towards the end. Paul then made another move towards Alex as a “fake coalition” to throw people off of his and Marcie’s alliance. He volunteered himself and Alex to drive to the next location which set off some alarms to some people. Doing exactly what Paul wanted.

At the next challenge Nicole was obviously crowned the “whiner” of the group. She then had to select who would be scavengers, appraisers and timekeepers for the mission. The scavengers had to go out and search through 40 items, bringing back any items they could tot he appraisers. The appraisers then would sift through the items, picking the five items that Robinson Caruso had with him on his island. For each they had correct they would get $5,000 added to the pot. The time keepers were in control of time basically. There was a large sand dial that they had to fill in order to keep the mission alive. Paul and Ali were the time keepers; Liz, Mark and Kristen were the appraisers and Craig, Bobby, Marcie, Alex and Victoria were the scavengers. They started off kind of rocky as the scavengers were bringing back items that made no sense. Things like blow driers and fans which could never have been used in the 1700s or even on a beach for that matter! In the first “ring of the bell” (they had three) the appraisers only had one right and that was a goat. After a few minutes the next ring gave them three answers and with a few seconds left they remained with three items correct. This meant $15,000 was added to the $20,000; giving them $35,000 possible win for the first round.

The funny thing about the whole challenge was Nicole’s “exemption” which actually made her sleep on the beach. The very thing she complained about and didn’t want to do the night before! She was happy to learn she was safe though so it’s all good. The others weren’t too fond of it though. At dinner that night everyone learned that they were going to have their first execution. Most were shocked and seemed unprepared while others were ready it seemed. I’m still not really sure who is the mole since it’s so early but if I had to guess I’d probably say Paul for some reason. Just seems weird how he would go all out to make a coalition so early without knowing much of what’s going to happen. The others had suspicious on Bobby and Craig. Bobby since he seemed to throw the mission by “walking” and Craig since it seems he has the perfect cover up. None the less I think it’s a sure thing the mole is a guy as so many people believed one of the guys was the mole and most of them stayed.

At the execution it was shown one of the changes for the season. The execution screen is now touchable! Jon touched each players picture to see if they were safe. I had a feeling it would be Mark since he had the “I’m going tonight” edit but it wasn’t him. It ended up being Marcie going home first and I was seriously shocked! She was voted as being the mole on night one yet goes home first. It’s a crazy way to start the game and hopefully it just continues to get better and better!
