Big Brother is down to its final three and although many don’t perticularly like at least two remaining housguests it has been a pretty good summer. The live show opened up following the nomination ceremony where Kevin and Natalie had a “fake fight” to try and dupe Michele and Jordan. The two girls seemed to buy the idea that Kevin/Natalie weren’t a pair but the two were still working together. I’m not sure what the point of faking a fight was but oh well. The shift then came to Kevin working Michele and Natalie working Jordan. The two didn’t know that was the case but they each had a backup plan just in case the Power of Veto didn’t pan out the way they wanted. Kevin winning that is.
The night before the PoV Michele and Jordan talked and realized that Natalie and Kevin were playing them. Jordan didn’t understand why Natalie would push for Michele to go when she wanted Kevin out and luckily figured things out on her own. In the opposite bedroom Natalie and Kevin talked. Kevin wasn’t too happy that Natalie put all the pressure on him to win the veto but she was right, all four of them would have opened Pandora’s Box in that situation.

We all know that lying is a big part of Big Brother but who seriously lies about getting engaged? Natalie apparently as she fell into the HoH power trip role that we all expected she would. Following the eviction of Jeff there were different emotions throughout the house. Kevin was happy that he made a big play and could look good to the jury for sending Jeff home, while Natalie was happy for getting revenge as Jeff was the reason Jessie went home. Michele wasn’t happy but she wasn’t exactly sad either. She was more angry that she is the new “big target” and realized she had to win the PoV to stay. Jordan was the obvious one to be upset and realized she was alone in the house. She could still have Michele is she played her cards right, and I think she has, but feels she’ll be going soon as well.
The game then shifted to the final two as everyone was thinking who they should take. Natalie and Kevin have been together for awhile now but Kevin realized that Natalie would probably beat him in the end, so he made a move to get Michele on his side. He offered her the chance to pair up and take Natalie out, probably at the perfect time to considering what she did about 15 minutes later. While Kevin was out of the way the three girls met in the kitchen where Natalie revealed that Kevin would be going up. Michele and Jordan were shocked as they knew the two were close but only Jordan seemed to buy the idea that Natalie really wanted Kevin up. Natalie spoke to her alone a little later to make Jordan believe they could be final two. Jordan seemed to like the idea at first but remembered later that Jeff told her to stick with Michele, which I think is probably her best bet now as well.

Big Brother has had some strange competitions but none were more stranger then tonight’s rapping gorilla as Casey returned, in voice, to host the Power of Veto competition that will change the end game forever. Following the nominations ceremony Natalie and Kevin had differing reactions. Kevin was uneasy about them both being on the block and still felt they needed to win the POV to stay, while Natalie felt Jeff would pull through and they would 100% be safe this week. The same feelings also could be said for Russell and Michele. Russell was paranoid that either he or Michele were the real target this week while Michele felt everything about the final four deal would be fine.
With those two pairs worrying it out, Jordan and Jeff were bickering about their situation in the game. They held the power back to back from last to this week and that has put some strain on their relationship. Jeff feels that he is carrying Jordan through the game, forgetting she won the PoV all herself last week, and that she relies on him to much. It does seem true, and most probably see it that way, but Jordan feels that she is pulling her weight. She could have proved it during the Power of Veto competition this time, but thanks to the mud and water Jordan just couldn’t pull through.

The Big Brother 11 house is simmering in a sure to be explosive live show on Thursday as they focus on Michele and her ultimate power as a floater. Following the nomination ceremony Ronnie realized he’ll probably be going, but still has some pull as Chima/Natalie/Jessie have his back and could rally for votes. On the other side we have Lydia who has been told she’s safe yet cries once again, hoping Kevin will save her with the veto. Other then that Jeff had a small segment, his only Diary Room the entire episode, about he and Jordan laying low. I think that was the producers trying to let us know they aren’t showing ANY of Jeff and Jordan this episode and simply wanted to give a reason why.
Now that the post-nomination reactions are over it was time to jump into the “save Ronnie” appeal. Chima was first to try Russell in changing his mind, flirting a bit with him which won’t be happy too much I assume. Natalie/Jessie then entered the conversation, as always, and tried to push Lydia to go. Russell wouldn’t budge though so they began working on Michele. Natalie started and Jessie once again jumped in but Michele didn’t really say yes or no. She simply told them she didn’t like Ronnie but they realized she’s the swing vote. I’m not sure if they DO realize she’ll be on the lower end of the totem poll and considering its Michele they are talking to, she probably realizes that.

Sorry for the lack of recaps for the last episode but I am back and Big Brother episodes are finally starting to make sense! Following the nomination of Michele and Jordan, the two believed they were simply pawns and Jeff believed that too. He spoke to both nominees, claiming they will both be safe but then again he has just as much clue whats going on as they do. Casey was also believing that the girls would be off the block soon with Ronnie going up, so he took the time to continue to bash Jessie. Casey was not a Jessie fan and also hated the “rat” Ronnie. Things seemed to change though when a harmless game of truth or dare was played, outing Ronnie and revealing a lot to Casey.
The game of truth or dare started with Kevin cuddling with Jessie. It lasted a few seconds until Jessie woke up, but the fun didn’t stop there. Next up was Ronnie, who was dared to hug Casey. He was up to the challenge and although Casey hates Ronnie, the hug lasted for around 10 seconds but the aftermath lasted longer. After realizing that Russell and Natalie put Ronnie up to the hug, things clicked. He realized that Ronnie being buddy buddy with those two meant they were no longer at each others throats and probably getting along. Casey was on to the fact that Ronnie may not go up as a pawn but still clung onto the hope that he would be.

This was a strange episode of Big Brother. One where they led you to believe one thing then BAM the unobvious hits as the Power of Veto finishes off the episode. So I’m getting a little ahead of myself here. Let’s begin post-nominations with Laura and Jeff on the block. Neither were happy about Ronnie’s decision, but played it off well. Laura cried and bonded with Jordan, who have become closer in the past few days, while Jeff simply realized Ronnie was playing them and didn’t seem too upset. Jordan was stuck in the middle though as she is friends with both Jeff and Laura. That wouldn’t matter towards the end of the night though…. you’ll see.
Before a small eruption in the house Chima and Casey got to watch their winnings of “The Ugly Truth”. Chima was not the date that Casey wanted but they seemed to enjoy the promo… I mean movie. They stole all the candy after the movie was over, hopefully not just for themselves but they should just be happy they got a luxury competition in week two! Later that night more drama went down and this time it was between the two fighters of the house: Lydia and Russell. It all started when Russell went rouge on his clique and started talking with the opposite side of the house. The idea was not to alienate himself from them and to start playing both sides…. basically.
