The three guys of Ghost Adventures are back and tonight Zak, Nick and Aaron are entering the Preston School in California. It’s a juvenile home with an unsolved murder case and 26 who died inside its walls. The show began like the rest, interviewing the locals and learning about the history of the building. The school was for young boys who lived and learning int he building. Growing their own food and working around the grounds in hopes of helping “angry boys”. It seems there were some fights in its day as there were several killings and one local called it just as bad as a prison. They were then joined by Gloria of Ghost Trackers who filled them in on the hot spots of the building. They learned that there were several holes in the floors and it was rather unsafe, especially to be walking around at night. The ward was one of the most busy spots in the building and the first X of the night was placed, one of many. After learning about the inner part of the building the guys searched for the graveyard and tried to find tow boys who died while trying to escape. Samuel Goins is the one they were looking for and apparently he’s the one who haunts the building, guess we’ll find out in a bit.
Before getting locked down for good the guys learned more about the killings in the school. The head housekeeper was killed inside and the murderer is still unknown. She was brutally beaten and a killer was suspected but never caught. Back inside Gloria showed the guys the room of the housekeeper and it seems possessions take place in there. The room where she died was their next location and Zak felt shivers while entering it. That could be a good sign for the lock down and I’m sure they’ll head their rather quickly. They had some camera and mic issues in the room and believed it to be a spirit, not sure if that’s the case but with all the interviewers talking this place seems kind of crazy. Once the sun set the guys FINALLY got locked down and it was about time. The best parts are the investigations and after 20 minutes of history thank god they finally went in.

Married couple Victoria and Brad were eliminated on the last Amazing Race and tonight the surprises keep coming as the Blind U-Turn is introduced to the remaining racers. Still in Romania, first place team Mel and Mike were the first to depart and learned they were heading to Siberia. Their 10 rubble note was the clue to their next location, a dam. Jodi and Christie were the least excited for Siberia as they probably had no clue where it was. Their taxi driver led them to Internet cafe, how helpful. It gave them a chance to order tickets but didn’t really save them time. Over in another taxi Mark/Mike had a driver call the airport for them but they ended up calling Cara/Jaime . They acted like they were the Lufthansa airline which was humorous but they didn’t really play it up enough to screw them up.
In the airport all teams got different flights as there were several different connections. Although that was the case they all met up to connect to Moscow so all were equalized. Five teams missed the flight though so Mark/Mike, Kisha/Jen and Christie/Jodi arrived in Moscow first, only to sit and wait for the dam to open. Once it opened they got a clue to head to a church to find their next clue. Mark and Mike arrived at the box first and it was time for their Siberia Detour: Stack or Construct. In Stack they had to stack fire wood while in Construct they had to build a set of wood shutters. They then had to take them to a house and install them. All three teams chose stack which was aided by some Siberian singers. Seems they have locals at all the Detours lately. But it makes it more fun as they laugh at them all screwing up!

Billed as “the Internets first interactive reality tv show”, The Escape premiered last night on BlogTV. Although shrouded in controversy, like many other mainstream reality shows, The Escape is an all internet show similar to Voyeur. The main difference is that the show is filmed live on location rather then through webcams. The concept takes seven internet celebrities (ok only five are) and locks them into an abandoned office building. Here they must live for a week, voting off fellow cast mates and searching for clues to release themselves from their dwelling. As cast members are eliminated they must give all their knowledge to one other cast member. When it gets down to only two players the one with the most knowledge of how to escape will win the game.
On the premiere episode we met the seven participants. Steven Binko hosts the game and is present in many of the shots as well. The seven players are BlogTV broadcasters: Chuck, Joey, Amanda, Jordan and Shane with two locals to Florida also joining the cast: Rob and Joleen. After being awoken from their hotel room, the cast was then blindfolded and led to their new home for a week. After three were locked in a cage, three tied together in shackles and straight jackets and one locked into a wooden coffin, the blindfolds were removed. Their first challenge was on and it was for reward. If all the cast could be freed within 10 minutes their personal belongings would be returned. If not, they would not see their cell phones and other items for the remainder of the week.
The three in the cage were Chuck, Jordan and Amanda. They worked well at first to help get a few of the shackled players free being Joleen, Shane and I think Joey. I’m not sure if Joey or Rob was in the coffin but they didn’t get free for the first five minutes. Everything seemed to be going well as two of the three shackled players were completely free quickly and the third was released after the coffin. The main issue was with the caged players who had the numbers to a combination lock on their blindfolds. They tried the right combo several times, supposedly, but Joleen got it unlocked in the end by forcefully pulling the lock apart. With all seven free Steven returned to let them know how they did. He told them that they finished just over 15 minutes, meaning their personal items were lost for the week.
None of the cast took the news well and blamed a faulty lock for their loss. It seems they tried the lock several times, with the right combination, it just took a little extra pull to get it apart. The end of the first episode featured confessionals from the cast. The one from the coffin was not too happy as he felt had he been set free earlier they could have win. Several others also were unhappy but felt they performed as well as they could, mostly those from the game. Chuck and Amanda ended the episode by discussing alliances. None believe alliances are going to help as there are only seven cast members but you never know. Before the episode left Steven returned to let the cast know that clues to escaping are all around them. A few found pictures of infamous BlogTV broadcaster Dee_InBC laying on the floor. Chuck let everyone know his bad times with Dee and Amanda agreed. Only question is, will those not from BlogTV, especially Rob and Joleen even know who these people are and the clues they may lead too?
The Escape airs news episodes here on BlogTV every Tuesday at 9pm est.
