Finally the Mystery Door AKA Pandora’s box was unleashed and it wasn’t as exciting, or maybe it was, then I had expected. Since I can’t complain about no Mystery door tonight, I’ll complain about the show intro. It seems we have gone back in time as it depicted Russell still alive and well in the house with a full color picture to boot towards the end. You would think the editors wouldn’t slack this late in the season! Ok into the game we go and we follow the nominations. Things weren’t looking so great for Jeff and Jordan as they realized that Jordan had to win the Power of Veto for the best possible scenario to occur. The two had a few somber moments while Michele was rather peppy, considering how previous days of tears. Kevin and Natalie weren’t too exciting during the period of time…. I honestly don’t even remember seeing them other then hoping they win veto.

Ok now onto the mystery door which we were teased for two episodes now. It all started when Kevin went into the HoH and saw the door with the questionmark. He read the letter saying that it is Pandora’s Box and that going inside would unleash $10,000 on the house. He quickly decided to enter into a huge room next to the HoH…. now why don’t they just USE it? Oh well, he ended up sticking his hand into the box and were it was then locked in. The house then spewing money in the backyard and the other four were able to quickly snatch it up. Nobody really realized that Kevin was missing until Natalie went upstairs to get him, he told her to find the key to unlock him but she went back down to grab more money, leaving Kevin still chained up. Jeff then ventured into the HoH where Kevin told him he HAD to unlock him or they wouldn’t get the money. That led Jeff to find the key, but he still went back outside to grab some more cash. In the end Jeff took home around $3,000, Michele took home around $2,000, Jordan and Natalie took home around $1,000 each and after being unlocked Kevin took home $600 some dollar. Not bad for living in a house, now if they would only shoot money into MY backyard!

Survivor Samoa’s Cast & Initial Twist Revealed

CBS has finally revealed the 20 Survivors that make up that 19th season which will take place in Samoa. This time around the game starts off with a Samoan tradition of assigning two tribal chiefs. It isn’t really said what these “chiefs” will do but it will have some influence as they will make all the choices for the tribes, early on at least. The cast is two players larger then originally announced and that is due to the two alternates being so liked that they were added in last minute. It seems like a well balanced cast with no obvious stand outs. There are only 9 players under 20 this time around, which isĀ  a nice chance as usually that isn’t the case! They also seemed to have casted more people from around the country and only a few are from LA. So far my favorites are the two Russells, Betsy and Shambo aka Shannon. Below I’ve posted Jeff Probst’s take on all 20 players as it gives a quick glimpse at each cast member. After watching leave a comment and let us know what you think of Survivor Samoa’s cast!

The Lava Starts To Boil On Big Brother 11’s Meltdown

We all know what happened in the Big Brother house over the weekend, if you don’t then you may want to stop reading this recap now as it spoilers the “meltdown” previewed at the end of the show. Following a LONG recap of the previous show the houseguests reacted to the coup d’etat. Jordan was glad that America gave the power to the “right person” while Natalie and Chima hated the fact that Jessie was gone. Chima began her anti-Big Brother spew by calling the eviction bs, but we didn’t actually hear her thanks to a bleep and blurring of her mouth. We also got some post coup and pre-eviction drama as Chima hated on Jeff for using the power. The two quarreled for a bit but the inevitable still happened as Jessie walked out the door.

It then went to the present as Michele won HoH and the power shifted. Chima was not happy with Michele gaining the power but she still felt like things could be ok. She and Michele had bonded during her HoH week and she still wanted Russell out the door. Natalie and Lydia were skeptical though as they felt the house was split with Jordan, Michele, Jeff and Russell all banding together. They did just that as the four sat in the kitchen while the others sat in the red bedroom. The four currently in power discussed Jeff’s coup and he explained why he used it. He wanted the power to shift and all three agreed they were happy to finally be in power.

One Popular Down & HoH Repeat On Big Brother 11

After last weeks crazy live eviction, Big Brother 11 returned live for a second go and was rather predictable. Following the stupid nomination of Jordan, the two nominees Laura and Jordan discussed the situation. They were best friends, but both wanted to stay in the game so decided to still fight. While Jordan clung to Jeff (which the show has finally made at least some acknowledgment of) Laura went to Ronnie and tried to make a deal to stay.

Up in the HoH Laura talked to Ronnie and told him that with Jordan/Jeff still in the game he will have two people coming after him, not just one. That made Ronnie thing and it actually almost switched up the votes. He brought up the idea to his then posse of Chima, Lydia, Kevin and Natalie. Natalie was the only one to disagree with the plan and once Ronnie brought up Russell campaigning for Laura to stay, which was a lie, she had enough.

Popular Nominations On Latest Big Brother 11

This was a strange episode of Big Brother. One where they led you to believe one thing then BAM the unobvious hits as the Power of Veto finishes off the episode. So I’m getting a little ahead of myself here. Let’s begin post-nominations with Laura and Jeff on the block. Neither were happy about Ronnie’s decision, but played it off well. Laura cried and bonded with Jordan, who have become closer in the past few days, while Jeff simply realized Ronnie was playing them and didn’t seem too upset. Jordan was stuck in the middle though as she is friends with both Jeff and Laura. That wouldn’t matter towards the end of the night though…. you’ll see.

Before a small eruption in the house Chima and Casey got to watch their winnings of “The Ugly Truth”. Chima was not the date that Casey wanted but they seemed to enjoy the promo… I mean movie. They stole all the candy after the movie was over, hopefully not just for themselves but they should just be happy they got a luxury competition in week two! Later that night more drama went down and this time it was between the two fighters of the house: Lydia and Russell. It all started when Russell went rouge on his clique and started talking with the opposite side of the house. The idea was not to alienate himself from them and to start playing both sides…. basically.

Big Brother 11’s First Live Show Brings Shocking Allegations

We all knew that Big Brother would have some fights tonight but NOBODY could have seen that eviction speech or eviction even coming! Before we get to that craziness lets recap the rest. Julie opened the show LIVE with the first audience of the season and they were ready to boo, clap and laugh at the right moments. It all opened up following the Power of Veto ceremony where Russel told Braden that Lydia threw him under the bus. He didn’t realize that is what occurred and went to talk to Lydia about what she did. The only problem was the talk led into a huge blowout which was fueled by Lydia mostly. After telling her that she was caught in a lie, Lydia kept saying she never threw Braden under the bus. Braden used some foul language, which they didn’t show all of it on TV, which really angered both Lydia and Kevin. While Lydia fought Kevin stepped in and began arguing as well. It led to more harsh words being thrown as the two walked into the house to spark up yet another argument.

After seeing Jordan cry over Braden getting nominated, Lydia was not happy. She thought that she and Jordan were best friends in the house and it hurt her that she cried over Braden but not her. Jordan had a reason though, Braden is on her team and she was crying morso because his nomination hurt her in the game, not because she likes him more then Lydia. It didn’t seem like Lydia cared though as she and Kevin jumped all over Jordan for simply talking to Braden. They felt as if Jordan was agreeing with what Braden said simply because they are friends and that fight sparked, you guessed it, yet another fight! Oh the power of a Big Brother argument.
