Tonight was one of those half filler/half strategy talk episodes of Big Brother and its right on schedule as it happens around this time every season. With less and less houseguests in the house, there is always less to do and talk about so we get to see some “filler” which is random clips of the houseguests or showcases of certain ones. The show opened up with Lydia elimination and the reactions that followed. Jordan was glad that Lydia was out of the game, since she thought she was crazy. While Kevin was upset, for obvious reasons, but held it together. He knows how to play and I think with Lydia gone, Kevin will have a much better shot at winning the whole thing.
It was then time for the HoH competition which began on Thursday’s episode and finished up here. The challenge was to drop cans into two plastic tubes, the first person to get 24 cans into the tubes would win HoH. Kevin was in an early lead with Russell following behind. The girls were out of it for mostly the entire competition but Natalie picked it up towards the end. Half way through the “golden cans” were introduced. If a player got a golden can into one of the tubes, they could block the tubes of another player for 60 seconds. Russell was the first to use a golden can and blocked Kevin’s tubes first. Kevin was in a lead and only needed a few more. Thanks to the blockage, Jeff was able to catch up to both and took the 2nd place spot.

On the premiere episode of I Love Money 2 the teams were formed, leaving Tamara to bounce in reality TV fashion. The latest episode begins where the last left off: the day after teams were chosen. Entertainer was still heated about Buddha being in the game. Buddha was still glad to be in the game and felt his team was the strongest. Double Agents are proven to kill a team as Onyx was on the Green Team yet still aligned with Entertainer and Heat. Love then came into the show as Leilene told Buddha that she has a crush on him. Saaphyri said it best by saying its “I Love Money” not “I Love Love”. You have to put it to Saaphyri for saying it how it is and well, hopefully she’ll be doing that the entire show. Buckwild wasn’t too happy with Buddha’s fake love for Leilene. Seems friends could be split over love, once again, as the next challenge was about to begin.
With a new challenge it was time to pick a new captain. Myammee was chosen for the Green Team while Heat was chosen for the Gold team. As the teams pulled into a marina it was time for a suspended boxing match similar to the mattress brawl last season. The challenge was based upon the moment in I Love NY history where Boston went over the boxing ring. Here the teams fought in a floating ring where the first person to fall to the ground would lose while the other would gain a point for their team. Best out of seven won. First up was the match up of the season, so far, as Entertainer and Buddha faced off. Entertainer was first down to the ground and lost for the Gold Team. That left Buddha winning, although he did throw a few illegal kicks out there. Next up was Ice vs Tailor Made with Ice going down first. That made things tied up going into the third round.

The much anticipated premiere of Survivor Gabon was finally here and for the first time in high definition, Survivor snuffed two torches in the land of Africa. I must say the show does feel very different with the feature of HD and the stunning views of Africa sure didn’t hurt the transformation into the world of high definition. With a brand new cast following last seasons half all stars, Gabon began with a tribal pick em. After all 18 castaways gave a little blurb about themselves, Jeff asked the two oldest players Gillian and Bob to begin the picking as it was African tradition.
When all 18 were chosen it was obvious that one tribe was stacked compared to the other. Fang housed most of the older survivors while Kota was a more well rounded group. With the tribes out of the way it was then time for the first challenge. Far away in the distance were two individual immunities, one for each tribe. The first person from each tribe to grab an idol would be safe at their first tribal council. Food was also up for grabs as the first entire tribe to get to the finish line would win a bag of beans, something very important as Gabon features much less food then past seasons. With Jeff’s go everyone was off. GC and Marcus were the first to get to the finish for their tribes, giving them the idols. Michelle, who was the last person chosen, was the third across and the first girl. She proved she wasn’t the weakling they all though of her but others didn’t impress. Crystal, the Olympic gold metal winner for RUNNING came in dead last. Of course she did have some trouble climbing up the steep hill. Guess she’s only fast on flat terrain.

After controlling the last four eliminations on I Love Money, the four blondes were forced to turn against each other. Before the Pay Master challenge everything was fine between Brandi, Megan, Pumpkin and Toastee as they continued to ride the “we are weak” bandwagon. On the other side of the alliance spectrum were Hoopz and Real who were getting closer. Well I guess you could say Real was getting closer to Hoopz. See she has a boyfriend at home, which I don’t think Real knows about. He sure will a little later though!
At the Pay Master challenge the remaining eight were tasked to hold onto a dangling stripper pole. The last person on the pole would become the Pay Master and another twist was brought in. The first person to drop from the pole would be eliminated immediately from the game. That put the stakes even higher as nobody wanted to go home. As the challenge began the three guys all had trouble. The Entertainer was the first to drop though, sending himself home and back to his parents. The remainder of the guys, Whiteboy and Real then dropped leaving the five girls still hanging on. After Brandi, Pumpkin and finally Toastee fell it was down to Megan and Hoopz. Hoopz wanted to give it to Megan as she knew she would keep her but after hanging on for a few more minutes, Hoopz made a deal to keep Megan which gave Hoopz the title of Pay Master.

Tonight one of the more dramatic eviction exits took place on Big Brother 10. With a fake secret message and some acting, it could change the way the game is played in the finals as alliances crumble all in a matter of minutes. Following the nominations last round of Jerry and Memphis, the Renegade alliance of Dan and Memphis were looking pretty well off. What the nominations did was split Keesha and Jerry to one of the Renegades, making the Power of Veto pretty much controllable no matter who won it. Keesha sided with Dan as she felt he would take her to the finals now that he didn’t put her him. Jerry continued to trust Memphis as the two were on the block together and now had a common enemy in Dan. Or so Jerry thought.
Later in the week Dan was given his trip, with Michelle, to a private beach. As he passed buy a gas station he noticed the price of $2.89. With “such a low price” Dan thought the economy was doing well…… he’ll be surprised when he gets out for good! As Dan flew across the ocean on the helicopter and worried how Michelle would react. She didn’t know who chose him and was shocked when she saw Dan jump from behind the helicopter. They both hugged and had a rather akward lunch but both seemed to have fun. Obviously Dan was grasping for a jury vote and actually asked Michelle if he has a chance at winning. Michelle wouldn’t really say and very little was spoken about the jury house. Michelle seemed to have fun and Dan may have won her over. We won’t know for sure until next Tuesday and that’s only if Dan is in the finals of course.

You would never think a show featuring “I Lovers” on VH1 would turn into one of the most crazy and backstabbing shows in a long time. On the last episode we learned that the show was going individual and thanks to that change, one of the biggest back stabs and blindsides took place. Following the leave of Rodeo, thanks to Megan, the alliances were set in their ways. Or so we thought, Megan was the only one to waiver as she began to fall more towards the remainder of the Stallionares, hoping they could protect her better then her all girl alliance.
For their first individual challenge the money lovers were going to stab each other in the back, literally. Each round everyone still in the game would throw a dagger at a dummy of another player. The first person with three daggers in their back would automatically go up for elimination while the last person remaining would be the Pay Master. The challenge went smoothly until the very end where Megan showed Pumpkin, Toastee and Brandi that she wasn’t sticking with the plan. When it came down to Real, 12 Pack and Toastee; one from each alliance; it was left to the two guys to take each other out. This gave Toastee the Pay Master role automatically, her second time for the show and one that had the ultimate power and safety.
On the way back to the house Hoopz, Real and Whiteboy were alone in a van with Megan. During that ride they welcomed her to their alliance, putting Megan in all three alliances at this point. Back at the house everyone was sucking up to Toastee and 12 Pack wanted to be sure she went home Whiteboy. He told her he’d go into the box just to make sure Whiteboy goes home. Bad idea buddy! Megan was also scheming but for the other side. Since Megan was starting to side with Whiteboy, she had to find a way to save him. She knew that Pumpkin, Brandi and Toastee wanted him gone badly and once she learned 12 Pack wanted in the elimination box her mind began to spin. Her first plan of action was to get Real, Hoopz and Whiteboy to apologize to Pumpkin and pull both her and Toastee back into the alliance. That they did and the two girls fell for it, putting Megan in the power seat once again and making her seem smarter then she looks.
In the vault it was time to put two more up for elimination along with Whiteboy. After a vote both 12 Pack and Entertainer were put into the box and were sent off with Toastee to their Power Outing. Here they had a hilarious “soul cleansing” where they got spit on and took him a turkey as a memento. Back at the house Megan used her powers of persuasion to get both Pumpkin and Brandi off the “get Whiteboy out” bandwagon. She told them that if they kept Entertainer and Whiteboy, the two alliances would still have someone to go after. Getting ride of 12 Pack would keep the target off of the four girls and keep them safe. After a little while the two girls agreed and when Toastee came back the plan was reiterated to her. It was all up to Toastee to decide though and it seemed she had a touch choice to make.
At the elimination ceremony Toastee first saved Entertainer. After bashing him a bit she gave him his check and was left with 12 Pack and Whiteboy standing in front of her. She at one point wanted to get rid of both and also gave 12 Pack her word during the power outing that he would stay. Toastee didn’t seem to care about that though as she went with the girls alliance and sent 12 Pack bouncing out of the game. It was interesting to see how quickly the target changed and how far backstabbing has gone so far. Will it continue next time? One can only hope!
