After a few runs of somewhat dead finds Ghost Adventures return with an extremely active house: The Riddle House. Location in Palm Beach, Florida the Riddle House contains several spirits found in a very active neighborhood. The house once stood several blocks away and was moved to its current location while the ghosts tagged along. As the stories go it seems the most active, and most violent, spirit is named Joseph and haunts the attic. The spirit is said to be of a man who hung himself in the attic, using both a noose and ladder. One eyewitness claims that every ladder ever used in the house had been moved or knocked over at some time. Other activity was also found when construction on the house occurred as a beam was shot across the room, hitting one of the workers in the head.
Along with the three guys this episode also introduced a local psychic who went through the house without any prior knowledge of it. The guys invited the psychic to take a tour with them and she revealed many things that were true. Downstairs she could already feel that the house was active and told the guys they were going to be in for a wild night. On the second floor she correctly stated that people were heard talking in a child’s room and claimed it to be the start of a fight that caused the hanging. She hesitated going into the attic but did so anywhere. There she revealed that the man was hung and claimed his name to be Joseph. Both facts were true so it seemed like she was right on with her psychic ability. The psychic continued to be very agitated in the attic and told the guys the spirit was not happy with them there. He didn’t like Aaron especially, giving him in invite to sit in the room alone.
With their initial tours over it was time for the guys to get locked down. Before their actual investigation occurred thing already started to happen. Several minutes after placing a two by four on the top of the steps it moved without anything or anyone touching it. As the guys went to investigate a flag fell in the living room, something the curator said would most likely happen. It seems any flags they put in the building disappear or simply break. The temperature of the building was also strange as many spots were showing signs of coldness yet they were in the middle of summer in Florida. Upstairs in the attic both Nick and Zak left Aaron to sit and wait. While Aaron was upstairs the other two guys decided to do some EVPs in the living room. While setting up a loud bang was heard in the kitchen but nothing was found to be disturbed. They returned to the living room, rather frazzled, but not as much as Aaron was. While up in the attic Aaron was taunting the spirit of the man who hung himself. After saying that killing yourself is a cowardly act, a loud bang occurred which sent Aaron running downstairs. The guys went to meet him and in doing so heard another knocking in the kitchen. It seemed like things were falling all around them and somewhat out of control. After reviewing their tape it was shown that a birdcage fell in the attic. It doesn’t seem like it could have just fell without anything but rather it was pushed off the table. All in all it was one of the better episodes for Ghost Hunters so far. Next week they take us to a cement factory, that should be a good one!

Following the nomination of April and Jerry by Renny last Sunday I thought April would be fine while Jerry would go around screaming about it. The polar opposite seemed to happen though as Jerry was generally ok with being up on the block and April not so happy. She knew she was going up yet she acted so upset, it just doesn’t make any sense. Although she did claim it to be a “show” to look weak, I honestly think April realizes she’s probably going out the door come Thursday.
Half of Renny’s nominations were expected by her alliance but Dan, Keesha and Memphis didn’t understand why Ollie was not up on the block. All three feel she has some sort of alliance with Ollie now and don’t feel safe if the Power of Veto is used. While that group was confused Ollie and April were arguing. It was their “first fight” as a showmance and it’s all because Ollie didn’t comfort April enough. He wasn’t happy with how she was putting on a show but the fight quickly ended.
Downstairs in the 80’s/90’s room Jerry was showing his age. The guy was talking to himself! Seriously, he’s going even more crazy in there then I expected but I guess being the oldest guy can’t be easy. Still, he’s still annoying and probably the most crazy there right about now. When it was time to pick the Power of Veto players nobody, but April, wanted Ollie in the mix. Of course it didn’t go down that way though as Renny, April, Jerry, Dan, Keesha and Ollie were selected to play in the PoV. Following the picking, Ollie and April ran to the sauna room to celebrate. They were acting as if one of them already won the veto but little did they know fate was not in their corner.
For the Power of Veto competition everyone was shocked by the transformation of the backyard. It was decked out with Halloween type props, including a python, voodoo dolls of all eight of them, crows to scare Ollie and a witch like Michelle. The point of the competition was to guess how many items were in the backyard or how long an item was. The person who stayed in the game and was furthest from the exact number was eliminated. Once someone got 3 points they would win the Power of Veto.
The first item was the length of the python. Jerry ended up winning the point and Renny was kicked out of the challenge. The second question was asking how many pins were in all the voodoo dolls. Once again Jerry gained the point and this time April was eliminated. Third up were the cockroaches, the one item they could not see but rather had to feel to see how many were there. Since she didn’t touch them, Keesha was way out and eliminated herself, Dan gained the point for that round. With only three left the guys had to guess how many ounces of blood were on the table. Ollie and Jerry folded, automatically giving Dan the point. Tied with two points each, it was down to Dan and Jerry with Ollie having very little of a chance. The last item up for guessing was a bed of nails which Dan came closest to. This marked Dan’s first win of the season, breaking his self imposed losing streak.
Later that night April and Ollie knew that April had to get Dan to veto her. She wanted to use her $5,000 that she won from a previous PoV to sway Dan and Ollie thought that would surely get Dan to use the veto. Dan had other ideas though as he wanted to use the veto on Jerry, forcing Renny to put Ollie on the block. When the two got a chance to talk, Jerry apologized to Dan for the Judas comment. Of course he would though since Dan is in power this week and it just shows that Jerry will sway to wherever the power is.
Before the two could talk strategy, Dan and Renny had a humorous moment when Renny cut Dan’s hair. He was so scared that she would mess it up, since she is crazy and all, but he loved his new cut and even got a kiss from Renny. After a lock down outside the houseguests came in to a smaller table. Some were sad that their huge table was missing, except for Renny of course. Renny hated the large table since it was “such a bitch to dust!” Got to love Renny and her one liners!
Back outside April finally approached Dan about using the veto. She mentioned about possibly giving him some money and said that on her and Ollie’s word, Dan would not be targeted. Some good reasons for NOT using it on Jerry were also made since he almost did win his third PoV. Although I don’t like April too much she does know how to talk her way out of things but I don’t think it will work this time. Since Dan did have the choice to make he went to Renny to see her thoughts. He asked her straight out about having a deal with Ollie, which she denied. Dan then asked Renny who would go up if Jerry came off the block. She wouldn’t tell him, making Dan wary that Ollie would stay down and either Memphis or Keesha going up.
When it came time for the ceremony Dan dropped a bombshell on everyone. He said that one of the two nominees made a deal with him that involved cash. He never said which wanted to give him money, but since both April and Jerry have gold bars it could have been either. It was a smart move for Dan to play, putting the target on the two nominees and off of him. Not using their Veto was also smart for Dan since Renny could have put his alliance up. That leaves this round of Big Brother 10 and leads us into the eviction. Who will go? Either April or Jerry will walk out the door on Thursday and when they do we’ll let you know!

Sorry for the lack of a Sunday night rehash but I was on vacation but it’s all back to normal now! Jumping right into things were Jessie and Michelle who were oddly calm after learning hat Jessie was going on the block. Jessie told April right away that he understood why she put him up and understood that he should be safe. Michelle was a little more annoyed though, claiming once again that the pawn always goes home. Memphis made a few comments about knowing he was going up but other then that he was his normal ‘in the shadows’ self.
After a quick stint in the diary room, Dan wasn’t too excited that America chose Jessie, of all people, to be hugged for at least 10 seconds. It wasn’t the hardest of tasks but it was sure entertaining! Dan moved quickly and created a plan to tell Jessie a sob story about his girlfriend. Um didn’t I see this somewhere before? Like maybe last summer? Dan told Jessie how he fears that Monica, his girlfriend, won’t be there when he gets out of the house. Jessie took it to heart and believed every word. In an ending move Dan hugged Jessie and didn’t let go for 17 seconds. He smirked as the clock passed the 10 second mark and it was a moment that makes America’s Player worth it, simply for Dan’s actions and remarks after he completed his task.
Later that night the houseguests were surprised with the PoV players being chosen. April, Memphis and Jessie were obviously playing along with Libra, Jerry and Michelle. April wasn’t too happy that Michelle was put in the mix and believed she was the only one who could win against them. When Libra entered the room April told her the problem and Libra didn’t like that too much. She thought that her alliance was counting her out and treating her like a weak link, since April didn’t think she could win the veto. This led another fight, about the millionth for the season, which included at least half the house on what should have been a very happy night: Keesha’s 30th birthday.
Downstairs Keesha and Libra complained, loudly I must say, about April and how she’s been treating them. Napping outside was Jessie who heard every single word, and some he only thought he heard. He immediately went upstairs to tell April what the two ladies were saying and that’s what set off the bomb. April immediately came downstairs and confronted the two. First Libra and April began to spat and yell but when Keesha tried to join the fray April brushed her off and said she would “deal with her later”. That didn’t sit well with Keesha and she went out to calm down and tell everyone else how much she hated Keesha. While that was going on Libra and April continued to argue and it finally came out that Jessie was the one who told April what they supposedly said. That’s where things got even more heated.
While everyone was in the kitchen waiting to sing Happy Birthday for Keesha; Libra, April and Jessie were arguing in the 80s bedroom. It seems to be the theme for most of the fights don’t you think? Libra and Jessie exchanged the most words with Keesha joining in for a bit. The two girls let Jessie know that what he said was all a lie and he never really did deny that he was lying. April sat in the middle of the argument and just kind of soaked things in. When everyone finally got calmed down enough to sing, Happy Birthday range out with the worst enthusiasm I ever heard! Following the song everyone sat in dead silence as they knew the fight wasn’t over. Keesha used the moment to culminate the arguement, it is her birthday don’t forget, and she had the last word as Jessie finally gave in and walked away. I must say, not since Chelsia has the house gone this insane. Good thing there were no easter eggs this time around!
Only a few hours after all the fun, or not so fun, it was time for the Power of Veto. Each round the six players would hit a hockey ball aiming at the center of a row. The person furthest from the center would be out and gain a prize. As more people went out they could either choose a previous prize that was won or keep what they just received. Memphis was out first, after almost taking Renny out with the hockey ball, and immediately won the Power of Veto. Next up was Michelle who very happily took a Hawaiian vacation, but that didn’t last too long. Jessie was out third and blamed his lost an the challenge again. Saying there really was no skill to it, seems he blames Big Brother for his losses but himself for his wins. He grabbed a Slop Special card but traded with Memphis for the PoV. With only April, Jerry and Libra left the PoV wouldn’t fall into enemy territory but the game went on.
With April going out fourth she won $10,000 that could be split however she pleased and kept it. With a perfect shot to the center, in the last round, Libra took home the winning trophy but it was Jerry who took home the Power of Veto. He asked April if she would split the money between himself, herself and Libra. She agreed so Jerry took the PoV from Jessie, giving Jessie a letter from home. In the winning trophy was the famous unitard worn by Jen and then Sheila. Libra didn’t want anything to do with it so she took the Hawaiian vacation from Michelle, setting her off more so then anything I’ve ever seen.
Following the Power of Veto competition Michelle ranting, in her very heated manner, that she won the shaft prize while everyone else got a prize. She felt Big Brother was making a fool out of her and threatened to quit. The fact that she had to wear the unitard didn’t sit well with her and she was taking it out by not showing her face in the DR. She eventually put it on but not before calling Libra a “whore”, “slut”, “skank”. Oh she also thinks Libra’s kids should be taken away since she took the vacation prize over a letter from home. She simply went crazy and claimed that’s her life story: always getting screwed.
Although Jerry won the veto many didn’t think he would use it and that’s what he did, he didn’t use the Power of Veto. This leaves both Memphis and Jessie on the block. It seems the house is split with the vote as Libra and Keesha want Jessie gone while April still wants Memphis out. It could be the end of the alliance as the two go against their HoH’s wishes but America, along with Dan, can shift the power by voting for who Dan should evict. Who do you want Dan to leave the house? Make sure to vote at CBS.com or texting your vote!
