Keesha Goes Out With A Bang On Big Brother 10
September 9, 2008 6:23 pm Big Brother 10, CBSTonight one of the more dramatic eviction exits took place on Big Brother 10. With a fake secret message and some acting, it could change the way the game is played in the finals as alliances crumble all in a matter of minutes. Following the nominations last round of Jerry and Memphis, the Renegade alliance of Dan and Memphis were looking pretty well off. What the nominations did was split Keesha and Jerry to one of the Renegades, making the Power of Veto pretty much controllable no matter who won it. Keesha sided with Dan as she felt he would take her to the finals now that he didn’t put her him. Jerry continued to trust Memphis as the two were on the block together and now had a common enemy in Dan. Or so Jerry thought.
Later in the week Dan was given his trip, with Michelle, to a private beach. As he passed buy a gas station he noticed the price of $2.89. With “such a low price” Dan thought the economy was doing well…… he’ll be surprised when he gets out for good! As Dan flew across the ocean on the helicopter and worried how Michelle would react. She didn’t know who chose him and was shocked when she saw Dan jump from behind the helicopter. They both hugged and had a rather akward lunch but both seemed to have fun. Obviously Dan was grasping for a jury vote and actually asked Michelle if he has a chance at winning. Michelle wouldn’t really say and very little was spoken about the jury house. Michelle seemed to have fun and Dan may have won her over. We won’t know for sure until next Tuesday and that’s only if Dan is in the finals of course.
With Dan’s return it was time for the Power of Veto competition (even though we know it was actually played BEFORE Dan left). The challenge was similar to the final PoV in BB4 where a stairway of clues would give one of final four the last PoV. Each step on the 10 step staircase had two statements that matched to one of the evicted houseguests. The first person who correctly match all 10 would win the last PoV. While Dan sped ahead of everyone he once again threw the competition. Dan knew he didn’t have to make anyone else mad so he “got stuck” on the 2nd to last step in hopes of Memphis winning. As it did come down to Memphis and Keesha he was lucky as Memphis took home the Power of Veto win.
With the Renegades in total control of the round they were safe but had to make a decision. Although Keesha was with the two for several weeks, Memphis wanted to evict her knowing they could beat Jerry in at least the endurance HoH. (For spoilers on that check out BigBrotherLoop.com). Dan really didn’t say much but seemed to agree and very little was heard from Jerry. Keesha was the one to freak out though as she realized Memphis would be sending her home. As Keesha painted her toe nails it came to her that the two guys would evict her over Jerry. She then stormed into the HoH to confront them and knew right away that was the case. Neither Dan or Memphis would say anything but after Keesha freaked out again Dan went to console her. He told Keesha that it was all Memphis’ decision, getting himself off free with her if Memphis did vote her out.
When it came time for the live Power of Veto ceremony and the live vote things went rather smoothly, up until the eviction that is. Memphis quickly took himself off, forcing Keesha to go on the block. When Julie gave both Jerry and Keesha time to talk both did just that. Jerry spoke to Memphis, saying he’s been there for how many days and hopes Memphis would honor their agreement. Keesha, on the other hand, wouldn’t even look at Memphis and instead thanked Dan for all of his support this week and finished by wishing him luck. It was then time for Memphis to evict and he chose Keesha without much though. Keesha walked out of the door but only after Dan did two things. He first gave her a rubber duck that was supposed to have a message on it. It simply said “HOT”. He also whispered in his ear that he took Michelle to the private beach, probably hoping that would help Keesha garner votes for him in the jury house. While Keesha was out Dan went on a tantrum, telling Memphis how he can’t believe he voted Keesha out and he will never take him to the final two. I’m wondering though if that was an act as he knew Keesha would be watching those short moments after leaving the house. The only question is, what did Memphis think of the outburst?
