ABC, The Mole

The third season of The Mole begins on June 2nd and ABC has began to release its cast. It seems the cast is very diverse as you can see most of the players by watching the four cast videos available. Clay, Kristen, Paul and Victoria’s bios have been officially released along with their bio videos. It seems ABC is gearing up to make this season of the Mole one of the best to hopefully resurrect the series. To find out more about the new cast and the new season click here. So it seems the little website I found the other day is now active and IS the website for the casting process of the new season of the Mole! So I figured I’d make this in search of Sunday dedicated to the Mole and let you all know that now is your chance to play it once again! Below is an excerpt from the website http://molecasting.com:

It seems like a website has been leaked which seems to be the casting website for the new Mole series. A friend pointed it out to me, http://molecasting.com/ but it has nothing official that says it is THE website for the new Mole. Who knows if this is real or not but it will be interesting if the Mole does a similar casting stunt that some of the Vh1 shows have done lately by allowing viewers to help cast online

A few years ago at the start of Reality TV a little show called the Mole aired. It was different then other reality shows as it’s concept promoted lieing and deceit rather then making it an option. One of the players was the “mole” and their sole purpose was to sabotage the others from winning challenges and gaining money. The identity of the mole was hidden and only the producers and the mole themselves knew who the mole really was. Finding out who was the mole was the job of the other players and answering questions about who the mole was on a quiz sent the players home. It was one of the first shows that the player’s fates into their own hands as they were never voted out of the game but rather left according to how well they identified who was the mole. The show aired two regular seasons and two celebrity seasons before finally sizzling out… or so we thought.
It is now being reported that the Mole is returning for a fifth season and being dubbed “The Mole 3″, showing that it will take the format of the first two seasons and have a “normal” cast with non-celebrities. The return of the Mole is a great shock to me as I never really thought it would happen. It’s been canceled for several years now and all of a sudden it’s coming back without any talk before this? They claim there were issues with the creator of the show and issues with the format and both have now been resolved. The new season will have a “simplified format” whatever that means, maybe they’ll just tell them who the mole is to begin with? The new season of the Mole is set to air this summer on ABC and is currently casting. If you want to put yourself through some mind torture for a few weeks go right ahead and apply. Just make sure the shows good so they don’t can it again and bring it back a billion years latter in a even more “simple” way.
