Why is it that every British guy on a reality show always seeks to be the most evil person there? Simon Cowell, Gordon Ramsey and now Piers Morgan. I must say after not watching the Apprentice since season one, I was skeptical to watch this celebrity version since most celebrity shows fail. Thankfully it caught my attention as it was even more entertaining then I remembered it and was surely a great season.
The night began with both Trace and Piers still facing off at the charity auction. I loved how they added the laughter from the crowd over the pre-taped moments. It gave it a comedy type feel and there sure was a ton of it! The charity event went pretty smoothly but one thing kind of felt strange to me. It wasn’t really about the items they were bidding on, once again, but rather huge celebrities dishing out thousands of money for the ’cause’. Piers had three donations at $100,000 which gave him a sure win. Hell even one donation of $100,000 would have been enough.
When it came time to crown the winner, everyone wanted to see Trace win. Maybe it was the fact Piers is British on an American show or maybe because he was so evil on the show itself, but everyone there seemed to hate him. When it came down too it though, Piers did in fact take home the win. Although I hate saying it, he did deserve it after all the challenges he won and money he raised. In the end none of the celebrities stood a chance against him (no not even you Carol) and he probably would have won against anyone. Luckily there is a new season already being planned for next year and Trump told us that he’ll “be around for a long, long time” so I guess that means at least a few new season. Hopefully they can get an even better cast next time. Just bring back Omarosa again and I’ll be sure to tune in!

The Celebrity Apprentice is now down to its final two and I can finally say THANK GOD that Lenox Lewis is gone!!! He’s done nothing the entire season but stand there and be used for promotion and for sales. Had his team not continued to win every time I’m sure he would have gone home a lot sooner. Now that I got that over with, I must say I was rooting for a Carol and Trace finals as they were both he underdogs the entire game. Carol came off as a very unbusinesslike person at the start but really grew into her role on the show and deserved a shot at the finals over Pierce. What was the point of having them interviewed and then going against everything the two interviewing people told him? Pierce should have been fired tonight but no, he stayed to make good TV.

I am sad to say that last night Omaroso was fired from the Apprentice….. again. For me she was really the only thing worth watching on the show as nobody else really brought any drama to the table other than Pierce who just looks like an idiot now. He went on and on last night how he wants to beat Omarosa down so badly that she quits. Does he not realize she will NEVER quit anything simply because she knows she’s good TV and loves every second she has? I mean seriously, it was a huge defeat and they mentioned that ten million times. I know she was a bit crazy, especially towards Pierce, but he just beat it into her a little too much if you ask me. He wanted to look like the ‘better person’ but ended up looking like a scum bag who just wanted to get his fix of drama for the night. Like I said I’m sad the show is now ‘Omarosa Free’ but I highly doubt that’s the last we’ll be seeing of her.

I must say I’m glad that Tito is finally removed from the Apprentice. He really brought nothing to the show and during the tasks never really seemed to add anything for his team. Last night he was basically forced to be the PM thanks to Omarosa since she knew Donald was likely to fire the PM this round. It didn’t help him either that he was visibly nervous during his presentation and was probably the reason his team lost. He let others make decisions for him, not just this round but others as well, and it was his time to go. It should be interesting to see how the game progresses I feel

The drama sure isn’t over on the Celebrity Apprentice as Piers takes on his biggest competition yet…. Omarosa. The episode began with Trump calling everyone back into the boardroom after he eliminated Nely. He then split up the teams, remixing them into two new teams. On one team he placed Tito, Mary Lou, Stephen and Trace. The other team, which obviously was put together to cause drama, were Carol, Lenox, Piers and Omarosa.
The groups began rather subdued at first but things quickly changed with Piers becoming project manager. His only rule was that whoever made the lowest money for the team would go into the boardroom with him. This basically meant Omarosa would go into the boardroom automatically, since she is only a “reality star” and doesn’t have many big donors. She then took her new approach, bashing Piers. She tore him down by bringing up negative vibes about his children and family and took blow after blow. After firing her, Omarosa still stayed at the task which basically was just Piers getting his friends to give him thousands of dollars.
Over on the non-drama team, things were looking up as they were working very well together. They were having fun and making tons of money and were actually working other then just getting big name people. Stephen pulled another brother to help him out while Tito brought his girlfriend Jenna in again to donate $5,000. Trace was the PM for this round and seemed very much in his element as the team worked so well together that it ultimately saved them in the end.
In the boardroom the conflict between Omarosa and Piers boiled over as Piers let everyone know exactly what happened. Omarosa just giggled and basically owned up to everything, except for bringing Piers’ kids into the argument. In the end the “evil” team ended up winning, yet should have gone home. Trump then was at a loss for a decision since he had no reason to send any of the four losing members home. In a Apprentice first he saved everyone from leaving and fired no-one, switching up the teams once again in hopes the drama dies down a bit, or at least to a leave where it’s actually comfortable to watch.

Was it just me or was last nights Celebrity Apprentice one of the best episodes its had in awhile? I mean yes Vinny did quit, but it was all in culmination of what was one intense episode. It all began when Piers sent Vinny to be a “rat” and spy on the girls. Vinny took it like it was an assignment from a mafia leader and went all Sopranos on us. Actually the whole episode seemed to be Sopranos themed and it was mentioned almost every five minutes. The one thing that wasn’t played up very much is Tito’s absence. He basically got a free pass to the next round since he wasn’t there because of a fight. That little manoeuvre is just showing how somewhat generic the show is. They are obviously not filming it in a continuous manner and the celebrities aren’t always “wrapped into” the show.
Back to the “rat” storyline. So Vinny goes over to the girls and basically designs their product for them. It was a brilliant move on Vinny’s part as he now had control of both teams. If he would have told all the girls his plan right away, things would have been different. In the end Piers told the girls what Vinny was doing, basically screwing him over. This erupted into a tirade between Piers and Vinny which lasted into the boardroom. The girls finally won something (thanks to Vinny although they won’t admit it) and left as Vinny said he’d like to quit. Honestly it makes sense he would want to as he was being tortured in a way. Trump made it seem like Vinny was the one making the mistake and shouldn’t have helped the girls team, but rather help his own team. But Piers did the same thing and basically and was kind of praised for doing it. In the end Vinny decided to quit anyway, even though I think Piers still should have been cut for what he did. The show ended with a similar ending to the Sopranos and concluded the best episode the Apprentice has had in awhile. Next week it seems like Stephen Baldwin is upset about the “rat out” as well and well contemplates or does quit. Will he go through it out? We’ll have to wait and see!
