A new documentary type reality game show is looking for female lifeguards. They say that you MUST be a real life ocean lifeguard to apply to the show but can be at any level of life guarding. It sounds like the show will air on a major network and is casting for all over the country with all backgrounds and all walks of life. An unknown network is looking for overweight dogs and owners to lose weight together. It seems like the show will focus on both the lives and weight loss of dog and master as they compete against other dog/human pairs to lose the most weight. It doesn’t say what the winner gets or how the show will work but it is a rather interesting concept. Those who have atleast 40lbs and up to 100lbs to lose and also have an overweight dog are eligible to apply so if you fit the bill click below to sign up.

A few weeks ago CBS silently revealed that a new Mark Burnett show would be debuting this summer called Jingle. The show pits several teams of 2-4 against each other to create the best product jingles known to man. Contestants will compete to produce jingles for large corporations and they say some musical experience is needed and anyone older then 13 can apply. If you think you have what it takes to make the best jingles ever then this show may be for you.

For 17 seasons Survivor has stuck to almost a carbon copy application with carbon copy rules. But after glancing through the application for season 18 something very interesting caught my eye. Normally applicants have to be 21 years or older to apply for the show. Only one player, Frosti who was 20, was ever below this age limit. Now it seems the application age has been lowered to mostly 18 except for a certain few states. Here is what it says in the actual application:

d. You must be at least 18 years of age, except that if you reside in one of the five
states listed below, you must be at least the following age:
Alabama: 19 years or older
District of Columbia: 21 years or older
Mississippi: 21 years or older
Nebraska: 19 years or older
Wyoming: 19 years or older
