Top 8 Guys Compete On American Idol 9

The Top 8 guys performed tonight for their final chance to make it into the Top 12 finalists on Idol. First up tonight was Lee Dewyze and sang “Fireflies” by Owl City. I thought it was a pretty good performances but it wasn’t his best. Randy thought it was a strange song choice, had some pitch problems, but made it his own. Ellen liked that he made it a little rock and thought it was great. Kara said he looked confident tonight and thought he made it a better song than it normally is. Simon said there’s nothing to rave about and he didn’t have a moment with the song. However, he’s seen him progress and he thinks he has a good shot in the Top 12. I agree with him in the Top 12 for sure! read the rest and comment »

10 Girls Fight for Top 12 Spot on American Idol 9

Tonight’s episode was down to an hour, which made the show go by pretty quickly. There were no clips shown before the contestants performed as they were just jumping right into singing. The show started with Ellen randomly sitting in Simon’s lap, which was amusing. Katie Stevens performed first with Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway” and seemed to listen to the judges. read the rest and comment »

Solitary 4.0 may not longer have a Pod #7 as Bea Hennington quit on the latest episode after enduring a hat full of nails. Bea entered the game looking to be on TV but got so much more out of the show and we got a chance to talk to her about her experience. In our interview, Bea reveals why she went on Solitary, how her relationship with Val changed and why she thought Pod #3 was a guy. The Amazing Race Is Back On Top In Action Packed Germany Leg

The Amazing Race turned to its greatness tonight with an action packed episode that actually made me want to watch. Ok so the challenges still weren't all that hard, but they were at least fun to watch and with the outcome I couldn't be any happier. It all began in Argentina where the group split off onto three different flights to Hamburg, Germany. Arriving first were the Cowboys and Detectives who were the first to discover that two teams must intersect. This one was a bit different though as one person from two different teams would pair up to complete a Road Block together. It's a nice twist on the Intersection and worked out better then I expected. read the rest and comment »

One Solitarian Can't Handle a Chair of Nails On Latest Solitary 4.0

After forcing the final five to spin until they puked, Solitary 4.0 got even crazier for the final four. After Pod #9 sadly puked her way out of her pod, the other three in the treatment continued to spin until Pod #7 and Pod #3 quick the challenge. They were happy to be saved in the end, but you couldn't tell since they were so drained. To pump them up for their next task, Val gave them a punching bag. All they had to do was punch the bag to let out their frustrations, and in doing so all four gave away some of their inner thoughts. read the rest and comment »
